• Report to the Senior Manager - HR Operations & Admin with the responsibility of all HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits, compensation, training & development, etc.
• Partner with the HR Director & Sr. Manager to align AAB business unit objectives with HR & ensure smooth execution.
• Partner with the business to identify people resource requirements to ensure the most effective methods are utilized to deploy and secure top talent.
• Ensure planned, effective, and timely recruitment of personnel in accordance with the approved manpower plan and valid staff requisitions.
• Review and revise HR policies and procedures to continually improve the efficiency of the HR department and organization as a whole, and to improve the employee experience.
• Contribute to the HR strategy development by defining and communicating the specific HR business need of the BU.
• Review and ensure that organizational structure is effective, standardized and updated; work with HOD for manpower planning and workforce projections, and advise department heads on the same.
• Work closely with managers to identify competencies development needs for leaders and their staff.
• Assist and coach business heads on developing KPIs and objectives for the team and support effective performance management process.
• Conduct meetings to update each business unit on all new HR developments and deliverables; analyze employees’ data trends and metrics to guide business units on improving the workplace.

• Handle employee relations issues based on established policies, labor-laws and in consultation with respective department managers and ensure prompt resolution.
• Conduct exit interviews and analyze the reasons, the exit data and present it annually; accordingly make recommendations to the HR management team for the HR planning of next year.
• Conduct weekly meetings with the HOD and submit reports to the HR manager.
• Optimize efficiency and productivity by identifying automation needs for HR processes.
• Ensure the execution of reward and recognition programs as well as semi-annual and annual performance appraisals and lead various initiatives & trainings to develop employees for senior-level roles.
• Managed all HR and admin activities of the company including all aspects of recruitment, benefits, employee engagement, training, administration and performance management.
• Actively involved in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting ads and managing the hiring process.
• Oriented new employees, distributed the employee manuals, and ensured that the employees have signed a copy.
• Drafted HR administration policies, procedures, working guidelines, job descriptions and handbooks/manuals; prepared presentations/manuals/handbooks on awareness of HR policies & procedures.
• Reviewed existing HR policies & procedures and recommended updates to the HR manager; kept the employees updated on the latest amendments in the policy and procedures.
• Organized staff training sessions and activities; monitored staff performance and attendance.
• Maintained updated documentation of all employee-related activities including employment contracts, confidentiality agreements, salary slips and new employee data in a systematic manner.
• Assisted the HR Manager with overall HR responsibilities including meeting manpower needs, implementing HR policies & procedures, and managing HR records.
• Coordinated the recruitment process, screened and reviewed applications, shortlisted qualified candidates, communicated the interview schedule to shortlisted applicants as well as conducted interviews in conjunction with department managers.
• Managed onboarding of new employees (crew- cockpit engineers and admin staff) including induction & orientation programs; acquainted new joinees on their job duties, responsibilities, benefits, working conditions, etc.
• Performed all pre-employment checks & prepared employee contracts for new hires in line with company policies.
• Contributed to the overseas staff recruitment (crew and ground staff).
• Ensured accommodation vacant for newcomers (males and females), including the safety of the place and amenities.
• Handled HR administrative activities including managing labor office instructions, dealing with insurance, managing visa-related activities, handling employee affairs, end of service benefits and annual leaves.
• Worked as a point of contact with contractors/facility management firms for the maintenance of the accommodation.
• Coordinated with specialists to commission the development of training materials for the crew and ground staff.
