Role Summary:
• Oversaw and monitored all installed systems and infrastructure in accordance with organizational guidelines or Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).
• Administered Nutanix Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI), VMware datacenter (VCenter, vSphere), Cloud Infrastructure Microsoft Azure, and Open stack (STCS).
• Oversaw the creation and implementation of Virtual machines and Cloud Instances, ensuring the high availability of the service by tracking machine location, machine components, and all technologies.

• Maintained the Virtualized Server Infrastructure (VSI) to ensure availability, integrity, operability, and normal functionality, including the maintenance of ESX Servers (Host), Hosted Virtual Servers (Guests), Internal Storage, and Networking.
• Managed other critical IT systems like Commvault and veam, Backup, Service Desk, Patch Management (Ivanti, ManageEngine, and Antivirus to ensure availability, integrity, operability, and normal functionality.
• Managed Data Centres and IT rooms to ensure the availability, integrity, operability, and normal functionality of the Data Centre, in terms of Power, Cooling, UPS, Alarms systems. This included managing Data Centres maintenance contracts.
• Prepared, reviewed, and enforced IT Systems related policies and procedures to ensure their effectiveness, full coverage of all systems services, and to provide users with clear guidelines for the acceptable usage of systems services.
