Roles and Responsibilities:
Implement and maintain all routers, optical transports, terminal servers & hubs in an enterprise class network Design & test network changes & additions Troubleshoot & analyze hard/software Provide info for doc.'s related to protocol, architectural changes, tech. doc.'s for supporting staff & running journals Design, scale, analyze & load-testing networks bandwidth for all data services, telephony and all LAN/ WAN/MAN Traffics Implement, configure & maintain the network circuit redundancy via layer 2 switching and/or layer 3 routing to minimize network downtime

DP World, Dubai Customs, Dubai Multi Commodities Centre, Environment, Health and Safety, Group Corporate Finance, Group Internal Audit, JAFZA, Limitless, Dubai Maritime City, Nakheel
Skills & Knowledge:
Knowledge of network design, network architecture, protocols and network topology. Also, network designing software, network monitoring tools, TCP/IP, CISCO routers and switches (IOS, Routing Protocols, VLANs, VPNs etc..) Knowledge in TCP/IP implementation in MS Windows XP/2000/2003 Server/Workstation Knowledge of all cable television products and services. Knowledge of related industry spec's and standards: IEEE, ANSI, UPT Fiber, ATM, ISDN, Bridging, Switching, Frame Relay, Routing, Ethernet & Transport protocols
Thorough knowledge in installation of Windows 98, Windows NT, Windows 2000, Windows XP.
Network Troubleshooting.
Hardware maintenance
Keep tracks of daily, weekly, monthly and annual back up of all required data.
Keeping abreast of latest technology trends.
Training Users.
Installing, Configuring and trouble shooting networks, implementing LAN and WAN connectivity, Security implementation, t• Integration, Design, Installation, Configuration, & Administration of LAN, WAN for over 50 plus different projects using Cisco, Microsoft. Implementation and configuration of, Exchange 5/5.5, windows 2000, NT.
Configuration Frame Relay, ISDN, Leased Line, Async Dialup access servers, Configuration of Routing protocols like IGRP, EIGRP, RIP1/2, OSPF.
Configuration of Access list, VLAN, LAN, VPN, NAT, RAS, IP Sec, tunnel and secure remote client.
