Setting Vision, Strategy and Direction
• Played a key role in enabling the company to be accredited ISO 9001-2015, ISO 14001:2015 and OSHAS 18001 certifications/ compliant within MEA region (UAE, South Africa & Egypt).

• Proffered vision and direction in order to foster a culture of quality. Embedded the Quality Assurance Framework, ensuring it reflects best practice and innovation. Established Quality & HSE KPIs and targets to incorporate within the business plan.
• Devised, maintained and improved the company Integrated Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety Management System to ISO 9001-2008 standards.
• Instrumental in successfully completing 3 external audits by LRQA for the purpose of ISO certificate renewal.
• Established and tracked targets for year to year improvements of QHSE Program and ISO 9001 program. Liaised with various departments and the management with regards to quality projects.
• Chaired ISO meetings, followed-up Radio Holland group and local quality requirements.
Continual Improvement & Benchmarking
• Conducted Quality & HSE internal audits, critical process audits, assisting/ supporting audits by external bodies and management reviews.
• Led Quality & HSE investigations, analysis and implemented corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Drove a positive intervention reporting initiative and encouraging near miss reporting.
• Tracked operational health and safety processes, monitored evaluation processes including supplier and product evaluations.

Government Relations Officer Champion
• Shouldered onus for maintaining company’s interests and legal status at all time and under any circumstances.
• Nurtured synergistic relationship with various government bodies on federal/local levels, in order to conduct smooth and efficient business dealings with these offices.
• Acted as a liaison with government agencies to ensure that Company affairs are handled expediently including Staff work permits, residence visas, family members residence visas, individual port passes for different ports across UAE.
• Responsible for processing and carrying out all transactions relating to port registrations, renewing trade license & chamber of commerce registrations.
• Represented Radio Holland in the courts of law. Protected, maintained and enhanced the company’s reputation amongst government stakeholders and influencers by providing a regular interface and communication for the organization with various government personnel.
• Coordinate with all Ministries in UAE including Ministries of Interior, Defense, Commerce, Labour, Justice, Foreign Affairs, dealing with Foreign Countries Embassies & Consulates, wireless communication equipment licenses, etc, with the aim of ensuring smooth and continuous flow of operations within the company.
• Single-handedly created and managed legal channels and communications with Telecommunications Regulatory Authority
