Started as a shift supervisor at STLOP and worked up to Refinery Operations Manager through multiple promotions as a process engineer and production in charge.
Duties
• Following up on the operation of the various refinery units: Dehydration, Vacuum Distillation, Oxidation, and Fractionation Units.
• Direct supervision of Utilities, Reverse Osmosis Water Treatment Unit, and Industrial Wastewater Treatment Unit.
• Involved in the start-up and shutdown activities of plants and utilities through contributions to the preparation and implementation of the procedure.
• Participate in preparing, revising, and improving SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) for the various units.
• Actively participating in troubleshooting activities, researching, and developing solutions, and providing the necessary recommendations to resolve or correct the problems in coordination with the maintenance team.
• Performing mass and energy balance (MB&HB) and monitoring processes and systems to provide energy-optimal solutions and cost reduction.
• Preparing the periodic reports necessary on the units production capacity and performance rate.
• Developing the annual and quarterly production plans and calculating the relevant budget.
• Saudi Oil Company (SOC) is one of the producers of high-quality recycled base oils in the King dom of Saudi Arabia. I worked as a process engineer in the various stages of production and su pervised the control room and laboratory.
