Key Responsibilities: (Accounting)
Overseeing all accounting operations including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, cost accounting, inventory and fixed assets accounting and revenue recognition.

Controlling goods dispatch in accordance with credit limits extended to the client, holding shipments in case of non-fulfillment of credit terms extended, thereby enabling better process control and risk management.
Monitoring KPIs, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance.
Processing client purchase orders, entering it in the ERP, and getting it approved from the credit team.
Initiating the process for opening Letter of credit by sharing of contract, deal recap, shipping terms and other details required.
Coordinating with the financial department to ensure that the shipment documents match with LC submission documents.
Processing payment requisitions in alignment with internal audit standards, managing and posting all accounting transactions in full compliance with IFRS.
Preparing and submitting other weekly/monthly reports like MIS report, cash flow projection, and other ad-hoc reports.
Prepared & maintained statutory books of accounts, financial statements and annual reports in compliance with time and accuracy norms.
Prepared disbursements Account (D/A) for our Principle - a leading NVOCC operator and handled complex customer enquiries.
Handled direct correspondence and constant follow up with the suppliers, shipping companies and freight forwarders for the shipment status and process until shipments reach to the destination.
