I have been worked in PSN under the management of Santos Sangu Field Ltd which is a joint venture operation between Santos, Halliburton, and Petro Bangla. The PSN has been engaged by the operator Santos under an integrated management agreement to provide a range of services in respect of the Operation of Sangu Gas Plant, Subsea Pipeline, and (Unmanned) Platform Sangu Alpha.
The joint venture partners together with PSN attach the utmost importance to HSE which is applied across all the activities and operations for all time. All employees and contractors are responsible for contributing to a safe and environmentally responsible workplace.
Job Profile:
In order to minimize the risk of accident, incident & fire during work at Sangu-A (offshore) & Sangu Gas Processing Plant (Onshore), the responsibility of HSE is carried out, under National standards; Santos EHSMS standards (Aus); and Code of practices; where I have been conducted the following jobs as mention below.
Prepare HSE Plan, Policy, objective and target in place, Conduct HSE induction for all employees, contractors and visitors and maintain records, Represent fire scenarios and conduct ERT drills, fire exercises, Maintain emergency response equipment to ensure 100% ready & availability, Follow accident/incident reporting, investigation, recommendation and recording, Put contribution to JHA, Risk Assessment & Step Back system, Conduct HS&E meetings to all employees and sub-contractors, Conduct monthly HS&E meeting discussed different HS&E issues are throughout the year, Provide advice, information and training in all relevant areas to ensure that Sangu Operations conform to Santos HS&E standards, Maintain safe lifting and working at height safety, Follow permit to work system (PTW) and meaningful audit, Observe safety signs & PPE standards, Follow Confined space safety and Gas test, Observe chemical & waste management and control, Observe OHSAS18001:2007, DoE and EMS of ISO 14001:2004, Maintain excavation, scaffolding, lifting, over-height, vehicle safety. Conduct noise survey & assessment, Observe CARE card system, Conduct HS&E inspections, and audits and take necessary CAR action, Conduct maintenance routines in compliance with the Sangu maintenance management ORACLE system and maintain yearly certification of HS&E & Fire equipment, Follow HS&E annual budget, Prepare month end HS&E report and annual comprehensive review

The following HSE standards are discussed to manage EHS risk:
Hand Safety, Land Transportation, Working in Hot Environment, Electrical Safety, Working in Height, Chemical Management & Dangerous Goods, Manual Handling & Ergonomics, Occupational Noise, Lifting Equipment, PPE, Excavation, Smoking & ignition Source Control, Confined Space Entry, Compressed Gas Cylinder Safety, Ladders & Scaffolding Safety, Tools & Equipment, Vessel Inspection & maintenance, Equipment Isolation, Housekeeping and so on.
Achievement: 7 Million Man-hours without loss time injury (LTI) free on 27/2/07 for the recognition of sustainable efforts to build a positive HES culture and 2ndly earn the best employee of the Month of Mar’12 for intervening in the vendor’s unsafe activity.
Duties & Responsibilities:
6 years worked from 15 June 1998 to 31 August 2004 as ‘Assistant HS&E Officer’ in the organization of Kellogg Brown & Root Bangladesh Limited (KBRBL) on-behalf of Cairn Energy and Shell (SBED) respectively in Sangu Operations, Chittagong, Bangladesh.
Job Profile:
During work, in support to onshore and offshore activities, the responsibility of ‘HSE, Fire Risk Management and HS&E Training and Technician’ is carried out under the HSEMS of Cairn Energy and SBED, National standards and Code of practices.
Description:
Provide advice, information and training in all relevant areas to ensure that Sangu Operations conform to Cairn Energy and SBED HSE standards
Start every meeting which I chair with an HS&E moment
Deliver HS&E inductions to visitors and new starts
Assist in planning, instruction and take part in ERT drills and exercises
Maintain emergency response equipment to ensure 100% ready and availability
Follow accident/incident reporting, investigation, recommendation and recording system
Conduct maintenance routines in compliance with the Sangu maintenance management MAXIMO system and maintain yearly certification of HSE equipment
Put contribution to risk assessment
Maintain HOC (Stop Card) card system
Conduct safety meetings to all employees and sub-contractors
During monthly HS&E meeting discussed different HS&E issues throughout the year
Assist in absence of HS&E Manager
Bring attention to the Sangu authority any deviation from operational and safety procedures
Maintain and operate the site waste incinerator
Conduct noise surveys in the terminal and on the platform
Conduct HS&E inspection
BA inspection
Recharging of BA(s) & maintain BA compressor
Vehicle (Bus/Truck/Crane/Forklift) fitness checking/inspection before using in operations
Scaffolding inspection and maintain register
Take part meaningful PTW compliance and audit
Periodically visit Sangu terminal and Sangu-A and OSV, follow-up inspection and preventive maintenance
Provide HS&E support during well intervention
Maintain an overview of ISO 14001 requirements ensuring integrity, compliance and continual improvement
Carried out ditch, well water sampling test and offsite visual inspection
Ensure that notice boards and posters and relevant safety signs are up to date
Support the development of the EHS annual budget
Assist to prepare month end HS&E report and annual comprehensive review
Provide following basic HS&E training to new employees:
HS&E induction on onshore and offshore
Permit to work system (PTW)
Personal protective equipment (PPE)
Gas testing
Breathing apparatus (BA)
Use of escape DONUT/Lifejacket/Personal locator beacon (PLB) training

Duties & Responsibilities:
6 Months experience from 03 December 1986 to 09 June 1987 as ‘Halon System Technician’ in the organization of Services Maintenance Company Ltd (SMS) PO Box-3001 Yanbu KSA.
Introduction:
It was Royal Commission, Yanbu, KSA, where all important documents and records of export import, raw oil (crude oil) and oil products, refineries and sea port are archived under the halon fire protection (suppression) and fire alarm system.

During work the operation, maintenance and trouble shooting of Halon Fire Protection (Suppression) System and Fire Alarm Panel at Royal Commission Yanbu KSA
Duties & Responsibilities:
6 years experience from 25 Dec 1978 to 13 Oct 1984 as Lead Fire in the organization of Saudi Consolidated Electric Co PO Box-57 Riyadh KSA.
Introduction:
It was world 2nd largest crude oil burning 700MW power plant (PP-7) in Riyadh, where I started job with erection and continue until operations year 1984, During jobs I have observed & carried out the installation of Fire Pumps, overhead Fire Water Tank, Fire & Foam Hydrant, FF Cabinets, Water Deluge Valve and Fire Spray System for Transformer Protection, Foam Pump, FF Foam Tank, Dyke Protection System for Crude Oil Tanks and bounds, Foam Monitors, Foam Pumps, Foam Proportion er, High & Low Pressure CO2 for fire Suppression System. Fire Alarm Panel & Fire Control (Suppression) Panel and different fire detectors and achieved certificate on Balance of Plant (BOP) Fire Protection System under presentation of Installation Service Engineering International Department, General Electric Company, USA.
Job Profile:
During work follow structural, oil, electrical & gas fire fighting and fire fighting techniques.
Follow strategic assessment of fire and fire equipments.
Have practical knowledge and working experience with fire fixed installation, operation and maintenance of water and foam pump, fire hydrant, water check valve, water deluge valve, water spray and sprinkler system, foam dyke, proportional and reservoir, CO2 (high and low) pressure, Dry-Powder and BCF fire protection system and fire extinguishers
Maintain operation, maintenance and troubleshooting procedure of fire alarm panel and fire control panel and fire detectors.
Drive, operate and fire fighting with fire fighting truck and keep fire truck ready for emergency at any time.
Follow fire inspection and audit program
Conduct fire maintenance and training regularly.
Observe fire prevention and fire precautions following regulation of the country.
