Sabic Jubail Main Building & Ghazi Al Gosaibi Masjid Project, November 2019 - Present Project Value: 1.89 Billion SAR Civil Structural Engineer The project is divided into a number of buildings and following are the tasks on the project: 1. Design review, review and approval of Structural / Architectural Shop drawings submitted by Contractor(SPML) from foundations and all the superstructure elements(Columns, Beams and Slabs) as per project specifications and standards duly complying to IFC drawings, related to following Buildings:
•Office Tower - 22 storey building above the 4 storey podium
•Office Block - 12 storey building above the 4 storey podium
•Car Park & Retail - 9 storey building with double storey height ground floor retail area at the west and south sides
•Auditorium - four storey building adjacent to the southeast corner of the car park
•Sports Facility - four storey building at the east side of the car park
•Data Centre & Generator Building - four storey building with single storey basement and adjacent single storey generator building northeast of the car park
•Recruitment Centre & VIP Car Park - two storey building north of the Office Block and roof over the adjacent VIP Car Par 2. Detailed study and review of alternate structural design proposals / modifications for structural elements / architectural features / finishes etc. as per site situations/CRI's and their approvals. Also, suggesting/providing technical expertise(including structural calculations, as required) to the contractors design team to have other effective alternate designs / proposals in the interest and progress of the project. 3. Monitoring construction activities at site and providing guidance to contractors construction managers for fast execution of structural elements and ensuring safety and quality requirements. 4. Checking and monitoring MEP schedules w.r.to civil / structural / architectural activities. 5. Solving critical Structural issues in execution of structural elements at site and extending full technical support to site engineers to avoid delays. 6. Reviewing/checking and monitoring the procurement of Civil/structural / Architectural and MEP materials. 7. Guiding Junior QC engineers of contractor as well as from Sabic in site inspections and approvals to avoid any delay in progress of site activities. 8. Attending coordination meetings for finalization of materials with material vendors and extending full technical support/expertise in their approvals. 9. Detailed review and approval of structural shop drawings for GGM project, which includes complete "Steel" superstructure, in coordination with other disciplines.
Dissertation: A comparative analysis of Multistorey Frames subjected to Wind loads. Class Obtained : Passed in First Division with Distinction from University College of Engineering, Osmania University, Hyderabad, India. Obtained Gold Medal for First Rank. (% of Marks: 81.49; Year of Passing: 1993)
• Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Civil Engineering Project Work: Computer Aided Analysis and Design of Multi-Storeyed Building. Class Obtained: Passed in First Division with Distinction in the Year 1988 from Osmania University, Hyderabad, India. Secured FIRST RANK in Civil Engineering Branch in College(% of Marks: 85.08)
