PCI Hardening:
~ Hardening and patching multiple systems (including Solaris, AIX, Linux, and Windows) for PCI compliance

Billing Migration:
~ Migrating Billing systems to new Oracle SPARC hardware.

Vcenter Upgrade:

AIX and SUN (Servers & Storage) systems 24/7 and
participated and/or managed lots of critical projects
including: o IWD project solution: Where I was responsible to setup 8 LPARs on 2 Power7 and prepare them to run 6 WAS applications servers, while 2
LPARs were running HACMP (Active/Passive)
cluster with Oracile assistant for Oracle
Database.
o AIX NIM server backup to disk solution: Designed and implemented system backup to disk for AIX systems located in remote sites,
using the NIM technology, to save
backup/restore time, also saving employee
resources.

o AIX LPAR Virtualization: The project aim was to make use of the IBM Virtualization technology
(LPAR) to migrate 8 Power5 machines onto 4
Power6 machines to reduce CAPEX & OPEX. My
role was the Project Manager and Unix technical
resource.

o Datacenter Renovation: The project aim was to expand the Datacenter room and renovate the
old DC room as it wasn't up to tier 4 standards.
My role was to supply a trend/estimate (5 year
plan) for the systems requirements in terms of
Cooling, Network outlets and power
consumption. I also had my share of the
systems migration out of the old DC room.

o Disaster recovery site setup: The project aim
was building a disaster recovery site for VFE
primary datacenter. My role was to install and implement all mission critical systems in the DR
site.

o DWH restructure: The project aim was to expand and restructure the DWH systems onto
2x E25K domains and 2x M4000 servers, My
role was to technically prepare the new servers, and do the actual migration.

o Solaris Virtualization: The project aim was to make use of the SUN Virtualization technology
(LDOM) to migrate 12 V120 machines onto 4
T200 machines to reduce CAPEX & OPEX. My
role was the Project Manager and Unix technical
resource.
