● Reviewing a contractor’s work for deficiencies and deviations from the plans, building codes, by- laws or general good construction practice.
● Inspect and approve the work as it proceeds.
● Submit a written Monthly Progress Report to the Client showing Project progress made against the agreed and approved program and budget.
● Ensure that rigorous quality management procedures are in place throughout the construction phases.
● Working as a part of supporting team to manage and increase the performance of the reviewing of shop drawings, material submittals, method of statements, check lists and inspections and test plans.
● Attending weekly progress meetings with team and contractor to monitor the progress of the project and solve any outstanding issues.
● Coordinate with other trades; participate in progress and technical meetings.
● Responding to contractor quires and writing relevant letters.
● Site coordination and reviewing site progress.
● Manage and communicate all Client instructions to the project team.
● Chair and minute all project progress meetings.
● Preparing and issuing project change orders and advising the Client of the changes.
● Certifying substantial performance of the work.
● Coordinating multiple contractors or consultants.

● Undertake Technical and Feasibility studies and site investigations.
● Acting as Client Representative, Technical & Contractual Advisor.

• Generally responsible for implementations and monitoring of all mechanical related works at site as per approved drawings and methods and safety rules.
• Estimates, prepares and assigns the resources such as manpower, materials, consumables, equipment, tools, etc., required for all Mechanical and related works prior to execution. Plans and analyses all possible construction methodologies and recommends the best options to the MEP Manager for approval prior to execution at site.
• Interprets construction drawings and studies the contract documents and applicable standards or specifications prior to execution of any jobs.
• Manages directly and provide engineering and technical supports to all the Mechanical work groups at site.
• Plans the execution of all Mechanical related works and coordinates the works to Electrical and civil groups.
• Assign targets for accomplishments and ensure targets are met on daily basis for all Mechanical groups at site.
• Submits site daily reports, inspection requests, estimates and all applicable monitoring reports on regular basis or as required.
• Supports the MEP Manager in accomplishing all the goals and targets for the Mechanical and electrical groups at site.
• Ensures that all the works done are in accordance with the approved construction drawings, contract documents, project specifications, and all applicable standards whether local, national or international standards.
• Ensures that all site works are done according to all applicable quality standards.
• Directly responsible for the safety of all Mechanical groups’ personnel of the project by ensuring that the project execution will be done according to all applicable health, safety, sanitary and environmental standards.
• Carrying out all Mechanical Works and equipment installation activities
• Attends regular meeting with client, civil engineers and consultant to provide update on project progress.
• Pre-resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems at site that may arise at any time
• To collaborate with cost control and planning department in preparing the daily progress reports
• Able to lead site personnel to execute and completion of job on time at site
• Performs other related duties as may be required by the MEP Manager.
qa/qc engineer:-
• Managed and oversaw project quality to ensure compliance to codes, standards, regulations, equipment specific specifications, and QMS requirements.
• To ensure strict compliance of the Technical Specifications set by the consultants and maintain high standards of Quality.
• Attending QC / Coordination / Progress Meetings on a regular basis with Consultant, Clients and Sub Contractors ensuring effective communication at all levels and hence ensuring smooth execution of work at site.
• To ensure that the Quality of Material being delivered at site is as per the Project’s Specification and Standards.
• To ensure that the Execution has been done in accordance to Method of Statement (MS) and the Inspections are conducted based on Inspection & Testing Plan (ITPs).
• To follow up with the Sub Contractors for Request for Inspection (RFIs) being raised and getting them approved from the Consultant.
• To report any incorrect procedure in execution of work according to set Standards / Project Specifications and any discrepancy or deviation from the design or Approved Drawings by raising Non Conformance Report (NCRs) against the Sub Contractors.
• To follow up with Sub Contractors for quick action pertaining to raised NCR’s for its closure.
• To Witness Testing & Commissioning of all the Mechanical Equipment.
• To Prepare a Punch List for all the pending works and to follow up with Sub Contractor for getting it completed.
• Preparing Weekly Reports for Work Progress.
• Co-ordination with other trades and ensuring smooth execution of work according to the Approved Drawings and Project Specifications.
