• Working with a multinational team on the management, administration and delivery of design & build scheme, supporting Project Manager in the development of overall project construction program, setting up project organization, directing project team and continuously analyzing time & cost to improve project progress and profitability.

• Managed site works and subcontractors’ performance ensuring compliance
with HSE and QA/QC policies, best practice and industry standards and codes.
• Contributed to the enhancement of organizational processes utilizing a
knowledge management system and promoting for a sharing culture on both
project and organization levels.

Project Value: 71M Euro
• Successfully delivered the first phase of hotel construction works within
budget despite several site challenges and political interruptions.
• Established and maintained strong relationships with government officials
representing the client and protecting project and client interest.
• Assessed the suitability of different procurement routes considering the
unique project nature resulting in the award of traditional construction works
contract to one of the leading local contractors (CSE).
• Assisted in securing a convenient source of finance (Bank Loan).
• Effectively managed project uncertainties by early identification of all possible
types of risks, reiterative planning, setting action plans and monitor outcomes.
• Worked with a remote team of architects, consultants and engineers
communicating effectively project status and requirements and reporting directly
to both area manager and projects manager on a regular basis.

Gambia
Project: “The Gambia Sheraton Resort & Spa”
Project Value: 52M Euro
• Promoted to manage the execution works of Spa building along with the
remaining works of 121 guest rooms, BOH and landscape for the resort.
Handed over the project successfully to the operator "Sheraton" on time
meeting a strict deadline for the hotel grand opening.

Gambia
Project: “The Gambia Sheraton Resort & Spa”
Project Value: 52M Euro
• Acted as the focal point for communication on site, delivering design
information, handling RFIs, RFAs and VOs, chairing weekly site meetings
and facilitating an open discussion between project participants.
• Supported the design team providing alternative local finishing materials
adhering to the specification and resulting in cost saving for the Client.
• Has been engaged in the evaluation & selection process of local sub-
contractors (FIDIC contracts) and authorizing contractor’s payments.
• Overviewed site work performance establishing quality control procedures
paying great attention to details (regularly inspect, identify deviations from
standards and apply corrective measures), ensuring health, safety, security
and environment regulations are followed by all site staff eliminating and
avoiding any hazards.
• Increased site productivity almost 12% by working with site manager and
plant manager to allocate effectively site resources of materials and
equipment within the framework of working plan and schedule.
• Effectively supervised a team of 7 engineers from different disciplines
motivating them to add value to work processes leading to the successful
delivery of 75 guest rooms (8 building units) & 1200 sqm Conference center
including business facilities on time meeting the deadline of hosting the
African AU summit.
