Spearheaded and implemented the migration project at Dexia from their old platform to Murex 3.1 system. Managed a team of upto 20 people consisting of BAs, QAs and technical resources and supported an overall budget of $10 million.
• Contributions included measurement of various strategic cost initiatives, supporting strategic initiatives for building/maintaining new regulatory oversight including an upgrade of their existing reporting layer
• Ran the SteerCo and ExCom meetings to provide updates to Senior Executives and monitor the project schedule and progress.
• Executed the project using Agile methodology; Onboarded JIRA and championed its use in the different phases. All Test Cases and Reporting were done out of JIRA, allowing accurate and consistent reporting.
Helmed the global FX Technology team in Toronto and Singapore supporting a multi-million dollar revenue generating business. Restructured and directed teams to boost responsiveness, strengthening skill levels and performance expectations. Facilitated focus on high-priority projects with new governance standards/prioritization; developed SOPs around project portfolio to manage request process.
• Scoped, planned and executed the $40 M FX Migration project from legacy Wallstreet Systems to Murex 3.1 System. Realized operational cost savings of upto $3M annually.
• Implemented new initiatives to streamline FX integration with retail branches and large corporate clients portal, aligning with the strategic new risk and valuation platforms.
• Piloted and implemented the eOperations platform allowing speedy confirmation of deals for large corporate clients in accordance with Back Office compliance rules and reduced Opex by $200K annually.
• Planned, designed and implemented Cloud-Based Data Center focusing on quick creation production like environments which allowed different functional teams to create environments quickly and helped reduce resolution time.
• Maintained 99.99% uptime through capacity planning and virtualization, with support to global, 7x24x365 environment(including 10 member offsite support team)
• Cut support/call volume 30% with self-service community and enhanced support monitoring using ITRS Geneos for the whole FX technology stack
• Created the FX QA team in the Singapore based Enterprise TCoE which allowed faster execution of QA cycles and adhering to the planned Sprint timelines.
