Performed following activities as a Cyber Security Team member in one of leading Telecom company in Kuwait-
• log monitoring services, which will include monitoring, correlating and analyses of security logs and alerts across information assets environment.
• Review SIEM logs to assess compliance with information security controls.
• Identify exceptions through monitoring logs of critical information assets and report exception to Cyber Security Director.
• Preparing weekly reports to summarize the list of incidents, security advisories, and other security recommendations. It included the operations trend analysis with the reports correlation of the present and past data
• Detect, investigate, document and report actual or potential information security violations, intrusion or other inappropriate use.
Responsibilities on my current Job with KPMG Kuwait include both System Administration and Information Security related roles.

Key Information Security related responsibilities includes:
Coordinate and execute projects related to IT security, as per the requirements of KPMG global Team.
Coordinate with Departments to conduct periodic review of access rights to the Shared Folders.
Conducts Vulnerability Scans to the network on a quarterly basis using Nessus Scanner.
Conducts periodic review for the servers against the minimum-security baseline standard guidelines of the Company.
Conducts review of the patch updates to the servers and end user machines.
Key IT Audit related responsibilities includes:
Conduct/ participate in ITGC Audits for internal/ external audits, which includes review of domains such as access controls, logs monitoring, physical and environmental controls, change management, backup and incident management surrounding various applications such as Oracle EBS, Maximo, etc.
Key System Administration related responsibilities includes:
Employee Access Management
Provided technical support for hardware/software configurations and applications.
Coordinating with Global Support team for standard updates
Troubleshoot and resolve escalated Level 2/3 user support issues in person at user’s workstation; escalate to global support team if required.
Manages assets by following up with vendors, also by asset request management, stock management, procurement and software management.
Backup solution
Provide technical support for various practices specific and KPMG proprietary software to the extent of how the applications install, inter-relate to the system, printing, storage, etc
