As a Senior Account Executive and subsequently an Account Manager at Weber Shandwick in Doha, Qatar, I served as the leader of the social media/digital public relations operations. In this role, I had two primary responsibilities: first, to drive the growth of the business by persuading existing clients to take on additional social media scopes, and second, to develop and execute social media strategies, content, and tactical plans. In addition to these responsibilities, I also briefed creatives and maintained existing client portfolios, ensuring that all work was completed to the highest standard. My expertise in social media and digital PR allowed me to successfully contribute to the growth and success of the business, while maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. Clients serviced: McDonald's Qatar, Qatar Leadership Center, HEC Paris in Qatar, PepsiCo, and Qatar Energy (previously known as Qatar Petroleum)

I started at the company as an intern and was eventually promoted to become an Account Executive, where my main functions revolved around supporting an existing client portfolio. This required me to provide support on both social media and public relations fronts, collaborating with an integrated team to create 360-degree campaigns. As an intern, I demonstrated my skills and potential, which led to my promotion to Account Executive. In this role, I was responsible for daily media monitoring, event support, and media relations with local journalists, as well as influencers and bloggers. I was also tasked with media planning, outreach, and developing public relations and social media campaigns. Additionally, I provided analysis, developed written content, arranged interviews for clients, and coordinated photoshoots to support the visual components of our campaigns. Through my dedication and hard work, I was able to contribute to the success of our campaigns and the growth of the business. My ability to adapt and learn quickly as an intern, and subsequently excel as an Account Executive, was a testament to my commitment to my role and my team. Clients serviced: Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB), Balanda, Inmarsat, Huawei, Year of Culture 2020, BeIn Sports, Qatar IT Conference and Exhibition, Ministry of Transport and Communications, and TASMU Qatar
