To support the management to prepare HSE plans, procedures, policies, risk assessments, etc. Creating a risk-free environment at the workplace by taking measures regarding health, safety & environment. Inspire creativity throughout the implementation of HSE policies and procedures ensuring that statistics/Incidents are accurately and timely reported. Performing Job Safety Analysis, Risk Assessment & Control measure, implementations as per hierarchy of control. Conducting the safety Induction training, toolbox talks and other safety meetings and trainings. Preparing checklists, accident reports and weekly inspection reports. Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to assess compliance and identify areas for improvement. Manage and maintain the COSHH database, ensuring COSHH statements are available on all hazardous materials and that effective Risk Assessments are in place to manage the handling and use of such substances. To ensure the implementation of HSE plans and work procedure through inspections, site walks and audits. Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-miss events to determine root causes and implement corrective actions. Maintain accurate records of incidents, inspections, training, and other relevant HSE data. Ensuring that all safety activities are executed in safe and quality manner and recommending improvements in working practice that will reduce the risk of Incidents. Conducting emergency evacuation mock drills and giving training about fire initiation, risks about fire, fire extinguishers To ensure daily spot checks and inspections of work tools, equipment, site and takes the necessary actions towards correcting any seen hazards. Ensure first aid facility and welfare facilities for workers are in good condition. Supervising of workers away from hazards and to implement the usage of adequate PPE’s.
