• Study and reviewing of all drawings (Single Line Diagram, Schematic, Schedule & Layouts), B.O.Q. & Project specification identifying all long lead materials required as per project execution plan.
• Review technical and commercial aspect of contractor’s proposal and negotiate terms & conditions.
• Raising RFI to consultant incase contradiction in Project drawings & documents.
• Preparation of enquiries documents for specified manufacturer as per project specification.
• Evaluation of the supplier proposal for Technical requirements as specified, Country of origin, Delivery period to make available of material on time and Assembly, Installation & Servicing for some particular materials.
• Preparing Technical & Commercial comparison with respect to contract document & agreement and submittals to high management for finalizing manufacturer.
• Ensure that the Project Electrical work is carried out in accordance with the Project Specifications & approved drawings, agreed procedure and method statements.
• Material Technical Submittal (MTS) & Manufacturer Drawings submissions for the electrical equipment & coordinate with consultant for approvals.
• Attending the meeting with the Consultant & Supplier and resubmitting the submittal to get the material approved.
• Checking the Engineering Drawings of the Major Equipment’s like MV Switchgear, MV Transformers (Oil & Dry type), LV VFD’s, LV MDB’s, LV MCC’s etc., .
• Giving Approval to Vendor to proceed for Manufacturing of Equipment as per my given Comments on the Engineering Drawings, Meeting Discussion Points and Consultant Comments points as final required parts for the Equipment.
• Prepare of Request for Quotation (RFQ) as per the approved submittal and confirming the Procurement department for issuing the Purchase Order (PO).
• If any modification in the design drawing during Project execution then reviewing again material description & quantity and take necessary action for the material availability.
• Performing checks on purchased materials to ensure its compliance with the required standards, and contacting suppliers in case of nonconformities.
• Coordinate with all related departments for their support to deliver project as per the contracts.
• Providing technical support and communicating with project team to clarify details concerning the specifications of purchased materials and its use when required.
• Ensuring a clear understanding of the technical features of materials in order to be properly stored or used when performing the project’s operations and informing the Store & Site team.
• Attending technical seminars conducted by Manufactures/Suppliers to gain more knowledge on the Material, so as to utilize new technology equipment’s on site.
Worked as Electrical QC Inspector and performed following duties:
• Responsible for the over-all implementation of Quality Control related electrical works accordance with project specifications and Engineering Standards.
• Arrange inspection of construction activities.
• Site surveillance and NCR raising, Visual inspection for the skid, Compressor, and pumps.
• Inspection for loop check activities.
• Experienced in installation inspection of cable tray, Conduits, Duct banks, Cable glanding & termination as per approval drawings in field and rack room.
• Installation and Inspection of Main Distribution Boards (MDB), Sub-Distribution Boards (SDB) & Motor Control Centers (MCC).
• Co-ordination with vendor for installation, modification Commissioning and troubleshooting.
• Perform inspection of all equipment during equipment pre-commissioning & commissioning.
• Installation, commissioning and pre-commissioning of Electrical LV - Control Panels & Equipment, and MV (4.16kV & 13.8kV¬) Switchgears & Transformers.
• Monitor and inspection of equipment’s, which are installed (distribution system) to ensure the continuous power supply.
• Inspection of cable tray over the supports and verify the alignment before clamping, anchor bolts and nuts requirement as per IFC drawing and final installation of cable tray.
• Co-ordination with Electro-Mechanical divisions to ensure correct sequence of work is being followed.
• Field Surveys for Design of New CP System like Soil Resistivity, Current Drain Survey, Natural Potential surveys, Selection of ground bed and CP Station location.
• Testing and Commissioning of New CP System. Galvanic Anodes Installation and Monitoring.
Worked as Instrument QC Engineer and performed following duties:
• Ensuring the installation per approved drawings & specifications.
• Review plans and drawings in accordance with specifications, codes and standards. Familiar with the International industry codes and standards related to Instrumentation such as; NFPA 70/NEC, NFPA 72, NEMA VE 1, NEMA VE 2, IEC 60529, SAES.
• Conduct activities and inspection in accordance to Project Quality Assurance Manual and Quality Control Inspection Plan.
• Maintain the RFI log sheet.
• Witness the PMCC punch for closer.
• Review the instrument Loop folder
• Checked and review QA / QC Documentation as per Saudi Aramco standards.
• Review Inspection Test Plan.
• Method of statement and quality notification documents.
• Witness of instrument cables termination & IR testing inspection.
• Continuity and megger testing of wiring between fields JB to panels.

• Need to Prepare Monthly and weekly project Quality status reports for client submission through senior management.
• Maintaining the master list for all calibrating instruments used at site and arranging their calibration at planned interval from third party source.
• Prepare Two Weeks site Look Ahead Schedule with coordination to site PM and Planning Dept. & QC Manager.
• Monitor & maintain quality records & documentation like Non-Conformance Report (NCR), Inspection Report & other Deliverables as per QMS.
• Prepare handling, monitor & maintain the Site Management Control (SMC) Dossier close-out documents., required to comply with the clients’ requirements.
• Participate in conducting internal audits at planned intervals to determine the conformity of processes as per applicable International Quality Standards and company’s Quality Management System.

• Inspection Wiring & erection of Lighting fixtures & Receptacles, Inspection of installation of Cathodic protection anode and cathode electrodes and its cabling and testing installed for vessels U/G & A/G pipe lines, vessels etc., heat tracing tape, Cable trays, Junction Box, Cabling for panels, Analyzers, pumps and motors, Electrical Panels for Utilities, Diesel Generator, Lighting and Receptacles, Lightning arrestors, Fire Alarm & Fire Suppression Sprinkler Systems as per Drawings and Specifications of the contract etc.
• Periodic Inspection of certified equipment’s to be installed as per required, zones.
• Periodic inspection of installation routes and cable support systems prior to cable run.
• Periodic inspection of installed tubing, hosing, cabling, glanding, termination
• Periodic inspection of cabinet / station / instrument / connection and termination, glanding,
• Checking of installation practices and quality of installation, alignment, level and orientation
• Pre-run checking and punch-listing of equipment, system and component shortfalls
• Monitor the subcontractor during testing activities to ensure compliance with the agreed testing procedures.
• Witness meggering of MV &LV cables, insulation resist test, pre commissioning of MCC, etc.
• Witness meggering, no load test, winding test, vibration, bearing temp, and speed.
• Circuit testing preparation and witness pre-commencement power / signal checks
