NREC - Jordan operates within Aqaba Special Economic Zone in partnership with Aqaba Development Company (governmental entity), with a capital of JOD 26M (~USD 36.5M). The company owns and manages one of the largest logistics parks in Aqaba (1.5M m²), specializing in warehouse and land leasing. My core Job roles and duties were:


• Led strategic financial management and governance in the company, ensuring compliance with IFRS and statutory requirements that included Tax and NSSF compliance.

• Led financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for the company to create the Five year business plan, in addition led the collaboration with Top Management in Jordan and Kuwait to execute the five-year corporate strategy.

• Working closely with Top Management and department heads to enhance the Company's performance and achieve the set goals and targets., which resulted in Reducing general and administrative expenses by 30% through cost-optimization initiatives

• Presented monthly financial position to Top Management and department heads, identify challenges, and implement corrective action plans.

• Managed cash flow to secure operational, financial, and investment requirements; in addition to monitoring collections. Developed the five-year business plan and cash flow forecasts for Top Management.

• Supported CEO in negotiate leasing contracts with new and existing investors.

• Implemented risk management frameworks and internal controls throughout the company’s departments.

• Delivered Monthly financial reports and variance analysis, monthly reports resulted in quick decisions by management with regards to revenue recognition pricing and cost rectification.

• Presented financial results in Annual Board meetings.

In addition to Shared responsibilities with National Holding Group - Lebanon

• Developed and executed financial strategy, budgeting, and forecasting, being part of the
restructuring team of the Company, financial policies and their implementation were
executed as part of the incorporation of the Company, with the support of the Head Office
(Located in Kuwait).
• Managed statutory reporting, audit management, and regulatory compliance through the
required involvement.
• Oversaw group financial consolidation.
• Ensured effective cost control and risk mitigation, by involvement in the design of the
workflows for the company.
• Managed cash flow, bank facilities, and investment requirements. Secured $7M in
overdraft facilities from the banks in Lebanon.
• Ensured the Companys accounting records are in compliance with the governmental
regulations (Financial Statements and Income Tax and NSSF compliance).
• Reviewing and approving suppliers payments.
• Supported CEO in negotiate Sales contracts with buyers.

• Led budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives under the supervision of the CFO.
• Supported and assisted NREC Department Heads and Project Managers in preparing their
annual budgets.
• Analyzed financial performance, conducted variance analysis, and reported them to CFO.
• Reviewed Head office and Subsidiary payments to ensure compliance with budgets and
policies.

• Led internal audit and risk management engagements for clients across diverse
industries: Islamic financing, leasing, investments, public transport, manufacturing, and
recycling.
• Performed Internal Control Reviews (ICR) for a leading Islamic Bank in Kuwait.
• Designed and implemented policies and procedures for diverse clients.
