• Participates in the formulation and implementation of the production department strategy to ensure the alignment with company strategy.
• Participates and recommends improvements to production department policies, processes and procedures and manages the implementation to ensure all relevant procedural, legislative requirements are fulfilled
Day to day Management.
• Coordinate with supply chain, material planner, and sales department to plan the production timeline to ensure all sales order are produced on time. Oversees the site planning process.
• Manages the day to day operations of production department providing guidance, encouraging teamwork and facilitating related professional work processes in order to achieve high performance standards.
• Liaises with internal and external parties at the appropriate levels to ensure smooth flow of interactions.
• Oversee the production process to ensure proper coordination to meet delivery dates.
• Oversee and monitor the production lines to ensure production targets are met with minimal waste of resources.
• Leads the ACP program (Asset Care Program) to ensure the availability and readiness of all equipment and production lines.
• Manage the operation excellence program to ensure plant operations meet company standards.
• Participates in daily management meeting to plan plant operation and resolve outstanding issues to ensure the efficient operations of the plant.
• Coordinate with the engineering department to ensure proper alignment of maintenance down time and production targets to meet overall company objectives.
• Review processing schedules and production orders to make decisions concerning inventory requirements, staffing requirements, work procedures, and duty assignments, considering budgetary limitations and time constraints.
• Develop and implement production tracking and quality control systems, analyzing production, quality control, maintenance, and other operational reports, to detect production problems.
• Participates in the development of specifications for equipment, products or substitute materials to ensure the compliance with business needs.
• Prepares and recommends the development of production department budget, and monitors financial performance versus the budget to ensure alignment .
• Manages the effective achievement of department objectives by setting individual targets, developing and motivating staff, providing of formal and informal feedback and appraisal - in order to maximize subordinate and department performance.
• Set and monitor product standards, examining samples of raw products or directing testing during processing, to ensure finished products are of prescribed quality.
• Contributes to the relevant Quality process to ensure compliance with corporate and local standards.
• Oversee the Quality process to ensure compliance with company Standards.
• Complies with all relevant quality, procedures to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.
• Being responsible for the selection and maintenance of equipment.
• Working with managers to implement the company's policies and goals.
• Identifying training needs.
• Design the products profile which is available to produce.

• Ongoing assessment of ours and competitors products either from within our Stores, Depots or Markets to be carried out and reported back.
• Successfully launched and marketed (processed cheese project).
• Participated in the creation of all type of process cheese that resulted in (a positive outcome).
