To plan a drive test route either for single site or for cluster of sites.
Initial site verification.
Data collection using Tems Investigator with 3G phone.
Involve other support task which include.
To analyze drive test data using MapInfo with other processing tools and identify the coverage holes, causes of the drop or blocked calls, pilot polution, etc.
To check a 3G in-building coverage for selected sites form vodafone and recommend in-building solution if 3G Macto cell coverage is not satisfied.
for integrated sites with the help of GENEX PROB 1.5.
GENEX PROB 1.5 Software drive test and reports to follow up network performance
New site survey according to nominal plan to decide the most appropriate site location, Site Auditing for existing sites to verify site database and cell design criterias (checking Azimuths, Machinacal & Electrical tilts, Panaromic views etc).
Checking coverage objectives for a sufficient signal strength, sufficient overlaps for proper hand-off and least interference to other cell.
Preparation of post drive test radio network investigation reports for new cell site validation, hot spot area, and Emergency Drive Test (i.e.: BSC Split, and Customer Complaint) recommending necessary changes to improve the cell/site performance.
Checking all value, handover relation with neighbor cells, defines missing neighbor relation, Checking all TRX for GSM900-1800 band, fixing cross feeder connections or cable-connector loses.
Scanning the frequencies in idle mode for interfering frequencies in sector to sector or in serving cell to neighboring cell.
Trouble-shooting for high TCH&SDCCH drops and blocked rate cell by cell, detailed drive test in their serving area.
Processing 2G/3G drive test using GENEX PROB 1.5, analyze log files and provide reports.
Periodic Drive testing to determine network problems like Drop calls, HO failure, interference, Call quality, Cross feeder, etc.
Checking the Trx Signal strengths, Quality, interference and handover statistics.

Job Description / Responsibility
Should have strong RF knowledge & well versed with Optimization process of one or more of the following: GSM, WCDMA, Should have relevant work experience in a substantial network environment covering a number of the following areas:
Parameter configuration checks, Cluster definition including all limitation and exclusion due to any factor which may affect the definition of the cluster
ERICSSON/NSN/HUAWEI OSS data request process, data post processing and data analysis.
Individual Site and cluster drive test campaign process proposal including all limitation and exclusion due to any factor which may affect the status of the cluster
BSS parameters setting (Handover, Power Control, Cell Selection, etc) and neighbor definition adjustment
BTS configuration, hardware database and installation checking
Schedule Testing /Define Drive test Teams, Top X sites/cells monitoring (Drop Call, Congestion, and Handover) & Customer Complaints.
Review RF Parameters of Cell Sites
Capture Drive Test Data & Post Processing With Actix Software.
Identify, Resolve & Verify Resolution RF Problems
Fine tuning of algorithms to obtain optimum settings
Power control, Handover parameters settings, LAC settings etc.
Tracking the progress of RF optimization
Resolving the differences between the planned data & the implemented data
Presenting the results to the customer Good analytical skills & well-acquainted with RF propagation & RF characteristics

• Keep track of all documents correspondences and transactions. Maintain and update all document registers through systematic computerized database and hardcopies in a chronological manner.
• Control of issue and receipt of all documents and drawings.
• Monitor and update any change and modification to the technical documents. Highlight any deviation or variation to Engineering team for attention.
• Making report of all Unsafe equipment, Tools and Hazardous / Unsafe conditions
• Checking & Implementation of all Safety works for internal and external works.
• Checking of correct use of equipment, machinery, tools and site facilities
• Carry out the Surveillance inspection for Hazardous & unsafe conditions.
• Providing easy Access and display safety warning signs.
• Inspection of work in Public areas, Firsts Aid Procedure & fire prevention

Detailed Drive Test in Customer complaint areas.
