There has been an increase in the use of technology in project environment in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Mainly to the ongoing investment in the infrastructure and the hydrocarbon related industries ( vision 2030), despite the increase in the use of technology used in those sectors , the management and control of technology transfer in project driven industries has received poor attention in the past , and that it lacks careful evaluation of system so as to weigh there suitability now and for the future. This a problem cost the KSA unprecedented sums of money and keeping up with technology necessary to complete industry living. Because of the multinational approach to the delivery of a projects, the world has developed complex supply chain that can fascinate the procurement , delivery, and installation of technology to the industries. However the the complexity of the supply chain create a layer of management hierarchies , barriers, and challenges to the smooth transfer technology and the management of knowledge that is associated with the technology. For any industry to benefit from technology transfer, there has to be clear policy of ensuring that knowledge flow and crucial knowledge is manage effectively. There are many strategies that an industry can use to achieve acceptable level of technology transfer, project management is one of them. so that while there is a good training for many employees in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia, there is no clear policy on the management of knowledge management in aproject environment. It is also show that good management of technology transfer could have positive impact in the project environment .This project concludes that the industry in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia uses project management as a key concept in delivering a project therefore project could be the best vehicle for for managing technology transfer in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
