Preparation of Periodical Financial Statements; Income Statement, Balance Sheet. Preparation of Cash Flow Statements and Ratio analysis and interpreting on the performance of business

Preparation of Variance reports, analyzing actual performance against operational plan and budget. Preparation of Division wise Financial reports and Increase/ Decrease analysis

Preparing monthly and Quarterly Closing Reports assessing the performance of the business and keeping the Management abreast of Business Results and performance

Direct Participation in annual Financial Auditing alongside the appointed External auditors (Ernst & Young). Disclosing and explaining business nature and process to Auditors and justifying company policies regarding Accounting methods and practices. Satisfactorily answering various queries raised by External Auditors during conduct of Audit.

Working with Zakath & Tax consultants during filing of annual Statutory Zakath.

Formation and designing of Chart of Accounts. Modifications in chart of accounts as per reporting requirements

Managing and controlling the complete accounting transactions: Preparation of Journal Vouchers, classification of expenses and costs under appropriate heads, General Ledger postings,

Creating Cost centers and Profit centers as per business requirements and operations for department or division wise accurate reporting in terms of financial revenues and expenses

Cost sheet designing as per business requirements to facilitate fixation of Selling Prices and Profit Margins

Co-coordinating with the Sales Team in bidding big and turn key Projects by evaluating cost components of the projects and assuring Profit making. Assessment of Financial Risks in Long term projects to ensure safety from Losses.

Preparing Operating budget and Capital expenditure budget in consultation with higher management.

Sales forecasting and advising management on fixation of targets to sales personnel

Monitoring the Preparation of monthly payroll statements with adherence to the company policies and procedures. Calculation and justification of Overtime to employees

Generating the Special financial reports, Forecasted financial statements, Receivables Aging Reports, Sales Forecasting reports, Forecasted Cash Flows etc. as and when required.

Monitoring and Controlling the utilization of financial resources. Proposing and advising various cost control measures to minimize the costs in different operations.

Introduction, modification, implementation and monitoring of cost control policies by continuous observations on day-to-day operational activities and consultation with the higher management on the same.

Supervising and Monitoring the purchasing department to ensure procurement at minimal costs. Reporting directly to higher management on monthly and quarterly basis.

Analyzing the profitability of individual customer orders and big projects by cost assessment based on historical information and experiences and advising the management for decision making and setting up mark up margins.

Assessing and approving credit facilities and terms to customers based on their performance.

Dealing online with major customers such as Sabic, Aramco & SEC through their Supplier portals for Invoice submissions and other Receivable issues

Preparation of Journal Vouchers, classification of expenses and costs under appropriate heads, General Ledger postings,

Preparation of Trial Balance and Financial Statements: income Statement, balance sheet etc.

Department wise and branch wise Income Statements and Variance Reports

Preparation of variance reports with comparison to the Budgets.

Active participation in monthly closing of accounts and reporting to higher management before 10th of every month.

Performing all the basic functions of Accounting: right from the clerical level to reporting to the higher management

Preparing the financial Statements; profit & loss account, balance sheet, Preparation of monthly bank reconciliation statement.

Monthly Payroll activities, Receivables and Payable function; local and overseas
Reconciling the books with parent company for back charges and On-behalf payments

In addition to above, also assisting the administrative staff as and when required and participating in order placement to suppliers and follow up the logistic matters and delivery to the customers

Active participation in the company affairs almost in all matters by being a good team player
