• Director of Operations at Egypt Healthcare Facilities Services (EHFS), a subsidiary of EFSMISR Company.
• Responsible for managing the operations of the largest group of hospitals in Egypt, Cleopatra Hospital Group (CHG).
• Overseeing all non-clinical services in 9 hospitals and 3 polyclinics, including Hard Facilities (MEP), Soft Facilities, Security, and Administration.
• Developing and implementing strategic plans, policies, and procedures to ensure smooth operations and optimal service delivery.
• Providing leadership and guidance to a diverse team of managers and professionals.
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Monitoring and analyzing operational performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
• Optimizing resource allocation for maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Building strong relationships with stakeholders to enhance collaboration and achieve operational goals.
• Driving continuous process improvement initiatives to streamline operations and achieve excellence.
• Acting as a point of escalation for operational issues, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
• Oversee day to day running of Healthcare Projects ( 10 Great Hospitals CHG Group and 3 Polyclinics with mega headoffice ) Soft Services in respect of Cleaning, Contract Procurement & Housekeeping, Waste Management, Façade cleaning, Marble Crystallization, laundry, Patient Transporter Service and Pest Control.

• Provide innovations and comparisons to market trends and forecast, advise clients accordingly.

• Continued improvement across all aspects of environmental services and cleaning services through innovation and efficiencies.
• - Full delivery and execution of Contract Road Map.
• Understanding of the importance to managing a site and the services provided including the ability to
• calculate the rewards and penalties of meeting/not meeting KPIs.
• - Ensure contract is being delivered in a cost effective way for the client and EFS.
• - Responsible for departmental budgets in line with EFS baseline parameters.

• Proactively manage quality of service and introduce innovations in line with market trends and EFS initiatives.

• Ensure that all costs and expenditure are within the budgeted levels agreed between the Client and
• EFS.
•
• Assume full responsibility for management of soft services against contracted scope of works.
•
• Reporting on SLAs and delivering action plans to ensure that SLAs are met/exceeded.
•
• Day to day supervision of the Catering and Janitorial teams.
•
• Development of a soft services improvement plan for each service.
• Report critical and key performance measurements and achieve performance targets on metrics and internal audits (financial, operational, etc). Ensure audit action items are completed on the required timing.
• Ensure the premises are in operative condition as per category of the unit to receive & serve the guests.
• Trained over 250 staff in 2 properties in Egypt.
• Conduct orientation sessions and arrange on-the-job training for new hired employees.
• Conduct or arrange for ongoing technical training and personal development classes for staff members.
• Develop and organize training manuals, multimedia visual aids, and other educational materials.
• Prepares TNA and trains new employees and continuation of learning for existing employees.
• Evaluating training and development programmes
• Oversees and coordinates maintenance and repair work assignments performed by technicians, vendors, and contractors performing building maintenance, landscaping, and janitorial work.
• Follows up with clients to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Manages vendor relationships and trains vendors on the work order and billing procedures. Processes invoices and ensures proper cost center coding.
• Issue all vendors POs, make GRs and follow up with their payments.
• Supervise the cleaning service with the soft services manager, assure the agreed scope coverage and enhance the levels to be more than expected.
• Supervise laundry service and run the quality check on a periodical site visits.
• Conducting site inspections, conditional assessment of assets, assess HSE and operational risk and reporting.
• Identify critical system, services, assets and ensure necessary contingency plan in place to avoid down time and disruption of services.
• Prepare contract specific PPM procedures, PPM schedule, and resource planning.
• Prepare method statements, risk assessment, PPM Task sheet.
• Efficiently execute corrective and reactive maintenance, achieve agreed service level agreements (SLA), KPI's.
• Handle escalations, emergencies and resolve all customer complaints, prepare technical reports.
• Carryout daily site inspections to ensure quality of works and adherence to the set standards and provide expert advice to the team.
• Generate revenue from repair, replacement, refurbishment / retrofit works and achieve set targets.
• Coordinate and oversee building repair and maintenance work.
• Coordinate daily floor inspections/walk-through, and regular inspections (including workspace/service bay, fire safety, elevators, generator, UPS, HVAC, etc.)
• Coordinate assembly and installation of office, lab, and building equipment
• Communicate and coordinate with different functional teams to manage their facility needs
• Liaise with cleaning vendors for cleaning of building and furniture, and coordination of specialized intensive cleaning requests
• Obtain and review price quotes for the procurement of parts, services and labor for projects
• Liaise with building and general contractors for general building maintenance and upgrades
• Coordinate deliveries, moves, renovations, furniture repairs and new installations and assist with packing/unpacking as needed
• Manage service requests (e.g. freight elevator deliveries, after-hours access)
• Attend to building emergencies and alarms
• Knowledge in QHSE & Participate in health and safety programs
• Evaluate and make travel arrangements and accommodations considering scheduling convenience and price.
• Set up meetings, conferences and lunch when required, including clean up.
• Responsible for visitor coordination
• Organize, maintain and assume responsibility for documents, files, and records (updating, filing, document security, plant calendar, etc.).
• Responsible for assigning and tracking of lockers and locker issues.
• Responsible for plant mail including pick-up and distribution of incoming mail; sending external mail; and other items associated with mail.
• Handle general employee requests, questions.
