Estimation
•Study/Review of tender documents, the scope of work, drawings, BOQ, specifications, client's requirement and etc. from the tender documents for proper estimating works.
•Preparing technical queries for ambiguities in drawings, specifications and BOQ. Co-ordination with quantity surveyors and material take off when required.
•Prioritize RFQ's that require more time to get quotations and major cost items.
•Prepare & send RFQ for all the items to all the approved/ approved equal suppliers/ sub-contractor to obtain required quotations.
•Performed value engineering when required/ permitted for the tender projects to prepare alternative cost-effective bids
•Follow up with the supplier/sub-contractor to obtain quotation in time, clarify all their queries and meetings with the supplier/sub-contractor when required.
•Technical Evaluation of supplier/sub-contractor quotations as per tender requirements.
•Pricing material and labour cost of each BOQ item in the price comparison sheets, by using the quotations and pre-determined manpower production rates.
•Preparing Price comparison sheet for each system and final cost summary. Preparing BOQ unit prices as per tender BOQ format and filling.
•Check all the addendums and communications received from the client, ensuring that all items are being clarified and considered in the pricing. Preparing Qualifications, Assumptions and Exclusions if any.
•Preparing tender adjustment schedule with unit prices, when applicable. Preparing price analysis, proposed vendor list, data sheet and qualifications as applicable.
•Attend Pre-tender meetings and site visits.
•Attend meetings, training as scheduled or organized by management. Responsible for implementing and maintaining the Quality management system for Estimation work.
Procurement & Contracts
•Negotiating with sub-contractors & vendors for effective and economic solutions for MEP systems based on the client/consultant requirements
•Research and evaluate subcontractors based on price, quality, selection, service and support.
•Preparing contracts
•Choosing the appropriate suppliers & extensive industry research meet with salespeople and compares their products and prices.
•Negotiate sales agreements (payment terms delivery terms etc...) to purchase the required materials, award contracts to the vendors and continue to administer these contracts throughout the relationship.
•Managing supplier performance in terms of quality, cost, delivery, and responsiveness. Periodically review suppliers, and launch improvement programs where required.
•Participate in ISO audits to resolve procurement and implement associated process improvements
•Support the purchasing department throughout the vendor qualification process

•Utilize company ERP software to generate RFQ, Comparison reports, POs and Work Order

•Testing and commissioning of various low current systems at the client locations
•Programming and Installation BTU Meters and Water Meters with M-bus Network and automatic meter reading software
