Responsible to design and detail all of the temporary works related to the construction as well as the development and review all of structural shop drawings, In coordination with the MEP consultant and contractor.
Review and develop the structural design for all of the structural elements.
Duties and Responsibilities
Manage complete project lifecycle from initial concept through construction and the department workflow as well as the operations, by providing in-house engineering support and direction. Develop and review all design concepts and supervise design team, review the post tension construction methodology, and materials.
Scope of work includes code driven design calculations, structural design, PT design, finite element (FEA), discuss the projects with the relevant authority and getting their formal approvals on the designs, develop the conceptual design and support the projects consultants in finalizing the projects structural layouts.
Achievements
Support project managers to win contracts / projects by developing the design aspects of bid packages.
Provide leadership and direction for projects at any given time.
Create and made technical presentations and attended sales meetings to address technical issues to secure new business. Identified and resolved clients’ questions and concerns.
Propose innovative solutions and cost saving alternatives to meet clients’ objectives and expectations and to establish win-win relationships.
Facilitate smooth execution of projects by attending regular progress meetings with clients and visiting construction sites. Conceptualized, identified, and resolved field problems quickly and diplomatically thus saving time and money for both parties.
