Responsible to oversee the day-to-day group payroll of around 3700 nos. of employees and manage timely disbursement of payroll as per compliance with UAE labour laws and other payroll-related regulations
Supervises the delivery of high-quality key transactional elements of Payroll in accordance with regulatory requirements and internal service level agreements
Partners with the HR department to ensure systems are set-up and updated to accurately reflect the current employee base, including wages, benefits, in line with contracts and supervises activities of Payroll dept. staff, including development and recruitment as per the HR policies, standards and procedures
Maintains contacts with external resources and organizations (e.g., auditors, banks, and management) to resolve problems, prepare and submit reports, and to develop programs that affect group and its employees with regards to payroll-related issues
Administers validates and controls the adjustment pay of the new employee in payroll setup and process all salary changes in payroll for increment, promotions, incentives, Leave salary & End of Service payment etc.
Researches and analyzes discrepancies in payroll ensures the accuracy of payroll and benefit coding and processes appropriate corrections and adjustment entries as required
Reports and analyzes monthly payroll accounting variances (actual vs. forecast/budget) and reconciling the transaction between Payroll & GL module for year-end auditing and monthly closing
Ensures proper training, guidance and cross-training of the payroll staff within the organization
Interacting with IT & ERP implementation support team to resolve all payroll related issue and also recommends payroll system enhancement to streamline the process
Successfully implemented Oracle in Payroll, HR, & Accounts
Execute monthly running & processing payroll of more than 3000nos. of employees. Also, validates new employee in payroll setup and process all salary changes in Oracle for increment, promotions, and incentives etc. And responsible for the adjustment of employee’s deduction, reimbursement when required.
Process and approve paperwork for new employees and enter information in the HRMS and Oracle and record employee information, such as transfer and resignations or terminations to update payroll record
Administering employee’s overtime payments, leave salary advance, house rent allowance and end of service benefits; collecting, analyzing & reconciles payroll and benefits data (Pre-paid annual trip, child education benefits & EOS) on monthly basis and maintaining staff’s provisions
Processing of staff final settlement with the necessary documentation and also responsible for administration and compilation of staff payroll-related requests/data
Managing UAE National’s Pension and coordinate with Federal Pension and Social Security Authority on pension-related issue
Interacting with internal and external auditors and participating in period end audits
Steered efforts in ensuring the Accounts Payable team are replying to all queries in a timely manner and all queries are dealt with correctly
Examined all payments are made within the stipulated time frame and managed accounts payable within the preset parameters; reconciled supplier’s accounts and resolve difference and responded to inquiries from suppliers, consultants and clients regarding the status of their payments
Reviewed contracts, purchase order and miscellaneous receipts, liaison with various departments experienced in Sourcing / Procurement/ Purchase/Inventory-negotiating the vendors.
And also, assisted to Sr. Payroll Accountant in monthly payroll preparation.
