Managing and execution of the crude / fuel oil storage tanks' maintenance and repair for our client which is an government entity.
Immaculate resource planning, developing detailed execution plan to meet client's requirement and managing sub-contractors and their personal at site.
Interacting with the client and providing them with the first hand information about the project progress.
• Planning & leading the team for turnaround and inspection of all static equipment like drums, columns, vessels, heat exchangers in Hydrocarbon tank farm & utilities area.
• Lead the team for ethane compressor and auxiliary system's check and repair during major shutdown.
• Support the maintenance activities for the crude, ethane and butane feed lines which is almost 200kms in length and supervising the specialist contractor during the ethane/butane scraper retrieval.
• Lead the maintenance team during the testing and commissioning of incinerator-4 in waste water treatment plant.
• Plan, schedule, supervise and execute the routine, preventive & breakdown maintenance of major plant equipment to assure their long-term reliability which includes mixers, feeding & loading pumps, compressors and various pipeline networks.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly mechanical maintenance reports of all rotary and stationary equipment.
• Execute and supervise the tank cleaning and minor repair activities.
• Plan and monitor all mechanical works and projects executed by the contractors.
• Conduct a thorough technical evaluation of spares for the plant equipment and ensuring the cataloguing of the spares for future repairs.
• Apply Management of Change (MOC) wherever there is a change from the original design and for any new system modifications.
• Implement health and safety management systems, procedures ensuring execution of corporate HSE policies, and contribute in preparation of Risk Assessments (RA), Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) during incident investigations.
• Ensure smooth operations by coordinating with maintenance teams and expediting out of service equipment repair and implementation of recommendations issued via VCR & CMRs.
• Consistently meet the weekly KPIs for both routine and emergency work orders.
• Managed procurement and maintenance of heavy and light equipment fleet and manpower for day-to-day maintenance and shut down, and ensuring adherence to company requirements.
• Spearheaded systems and processes for in-house certification program of heavy equipment operators and rigger certification programs.
• Participated in procurement and management of short- and long-term contracts related to heavy/light equipment and manpower required for routine maintenance activities, shutdowns and T&I activities of the refinery and petrochemical plants.
• Regularly supervise the operations and maintenance of heavy and light equipment and collaborate with maintenance and fleet groups for optimized and better results.
• Managing complete fleet of heavy & light equipment & providing all the required support throughout the complex for routine and shutdown activities.
• Provided technical guidance for rigging, equipment usage for routine maintenance, shutdown and T&I.
• Scored 100% in the Rigger-1 Certification exam conducted by Saudi Aramco.
• Executed various rigging jobs include heavy lifts, critical lifts and non-critical lifts at oil and gas wells throughout the Kingdom, and crude oil pump stations.
• Designed and approved critical lifting plans, performed sling load calculations, selected proper crane configuration and prepared the lifting diagrams.
• Reviewed and approved Job Safety Analysis for special and unique lifts, ensured the use of internationally approved and recommended crane signals, and proficiently supervised lifting activities.
• Facilitated coordination among contractors and inspection teams to conduct equipment inspection and manpower certifications.
• Acted as a liaison among the company’s LPD and contractors regarding safety requirements.
• Performed stress and strain calculations for aerospace and automotive components using Hypermesh and Nastran.
• Approved appropriate drawings made by the design department and executed assigned tasks
I have passed my Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical, with FIRST CLASS WITH DISTINCTION. I completed my B.E.(mech) from Malnad college of Engineering, affiliated to Vishweshwaraiah Technological University,Karnataka Approved by AICTE, India.
