• Responsible for managing multiple projects under Gas cluster assigned to me.
• Responsible for directing team and resolving any contractual and project issues with client
• Participation in engineering review meetings (DR, HAZOP, IPF, PDMS model review)
• Carrying out technical evaluation of bids, issuing TBE for procurement action, carrying out negotiations with the vendors or subcontractors.
• Attending progress review meetings with project team and other stake holders
• Managing the project shutdown engineering, procurement, construction and interface requirement with the subcontractors and vendors
• Motivating and bringing quality and safety awareness among all involved functions & obtain the necessary inputs as per the planned schedules to meet the project targets and budget
• Responsible for project variations and claims
• Responsible for ensuring that project KOM are conducted and PEP’s are submitted on time as per the schedule
• Responsible for submitting the EPC estimates as per the SOR rates under the EMC contract
• Managing engineering, procurement and construction stages of the projects
• Responsible for HSE compliance of the projects
• Carrying out project risk assessment, learning lessons
• Resolving conflicts, problems and leading multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary team.
• Preparing and maintaining stake holder and interface register
• Resolving site queries on time for the smooth going of construction activities.
• Ensuring that work packs are issued to site on time as per schedule to support the construction activities.
• Reviewing and validating detailed design and engineering deliverables.
• Ensuring compliance to company policies and procedures and prior approval from client, management or local authorities are obtained for any project specific compliance requirement.
• Negotiating and resolving any issues related to subcontracts.
• Responsible to ensure that project RLMU drawings are received from site and As-built documentation is submitted to client.
• Responsible for ensuring project closeouts
• Providing input to management for process improvements
Project Management:
1) Preparing Project Scope of Work, Project Execution Plans
2) completion of projects through various gate stages from concept face to detail designing and construction.
3)) Completing the project risk assessments
4) Conducting Project Kick off meetings and progress review meetings.
5) Leading & coordinating with various engineering functions to issue the deliverables and the work packs as per the scope of work.
6) Responsible for variations and claims as per the contract.
7) Finalization of subcontractors.
8) Liaising with procurement to expedite the procurement process.
9) Complying with quality and HSE requirements
10) Completing the project as per agreed milestones from concept stage to commissioning.
11) Responsible for Project close out
12) Handling plant shutdown jobs for earley tie-in scope.

Following up with the vendors, expediting procurement process for the timely procurement of material for advanced tie-ins in order to meet the shut down dates.
Attending the Factory Acceptance Tests.
Undertaking project management and contract execution, attending meetings with sub-contractors and clients.
Monitoring contract progress and performance to detect any deviation/delay in the progress of work and taking proper actions to catch up with the schedule.
Negotiating project variations with sub-contractors through contract department and preparing relevant documents for management approvals.
Claiming for the additional scope of work and variations to client.
Attending Hazard analysis and Design review meetings with client and consultants.
Developing full-scale project plans, Project and Contract Execution plans and associated communications documents in co-ordination with the Planning department.
Expediting engineering, quality, procurement & construction activities to meet Project milestones as per Schedule.
Monitoring project progress, cost & identifying reasons for deviations and reporting to Project Manager.
Complete co-ordination with all internal departments for effective completion of order in terms of cost, schedule & quality.
Responsible for variations & claims. • Meeting the project milestones and complying with Contract Quality plans.
• Leading a team of drafts men, checking the layout drawings, G.A drawings and isometrics.
• Technical discussions with clients and consultants and incorporating comments.
• Managing timely issue of drawings and clarifying the technical queries of clients.
Completed Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering First divison with major subjects as Machine design,thermo dynamics, material science,production technology,theory of machines,structural designing etc.
