• Since Fab-2015 I Joined the IT Department at Makkah Region Development Authority as
Senior System Administrator & Data Center Professional, working on MS- Active
Directory, and DNS & Linux Administrator, Managing the Office-365 Cloud, ability to
use different kind of HP Managing tools.
• In addition, I am working as System Admin for the Oracle E-business Suite.
• Microsoft Hyper-V virtual environment, configuration, and support.
• Also, Working as System Admin on the HP Blade c7000, & Admin for HP MSA2040
Storage, SAN Switch, Virtual connect and StoreOnce Backup with HP Data Protector.
• Also, working as admin for Sonic Wall NSA2600 (I have attended the SonicWALL
Administration courses, NSBA, NSAA).

Endpoint Protection, Trend Micro Mobile Security, Trend Micro Endpoint Encryption,

from May-2014- Jan 2015 I was at the IT Department at Ministry of Justice, working
with different storages EMC VMax-e, EMC VNX5500, Sun Storage Tek9985v, HP P2000,
and Cisco MDS 9500 Switches.
Working also as Backup Administrator using the NetBackup, Symantec NetBackup 5230
Appliance to store backups for the Main site and Symantec NetBackup 5230 Appliance for the
DR Site, and using HP StoreEver MSL6480 Tape Library for tape out the backups, backups for
the Operating Platforms and Databases, Exchange servers, SharePoint.
Configuring the NetBackup pools, policies and scheduling Backups for different servers
(Windows Servers, Sun Solaris servers, Linux servers, Oracle Database RAC environment, SQL
Server, Exchange Server, and Mail servers), also configuring the SLP for backup replication and
tape out, BMR configuration for the Windows and Linux Environments.
The new Implementation for the DR site I worked on the new IBM Storwize V7000 Unified
(which is about 1 PB in size, Configuring auto tiering with three kind of disks, SSD disk, SAS,
SAS nearline, NAS configuration), IBM System Storage SAN384B Directors for the Main Site
and DR Site, and IBM Flex System Enterprise. IBM TS3310 Tape Library, for the Integration
with Symantec NetBackup 5230 Appliance.
Installation and configuration for the IBM Storwize V7000, with the IBM SAN24B-5, and IBM
system x3650 M4 servers, for the DMZ zones.
Working with Tivoli Storage Productivity Center - Virtual Storage Center Edition, for
monitoring the SAN Storage, and Servers environment.
Since Jun-2011 the Installation of New SAN Storage “ HP Storage Works XP24000
Disk Array ”, "HP P2000 G3 MSA" with New Backup system which includes VLS9000
, D2D, EML Tape Library, & Data Protector, I Worked with the HP team for
Installation and configuration, Making Zones, Mapping and attended the courses
“Storage Works XP1: Configuration and Management “ and “Accelerated SAN
Essentials “ and also “Data Protector 6.x Essentials “, I have good work experience to
how configuring the SAN, And Attaching the Hosts to the San Switches and to the
storage, Backups using Data Protector.
Zoning between Storage->Switch->Server, Installation and Customization of the storage
management tools, performing migration of data, Health check on volumes/arrays and
hardware of the SAN, Creating CPGs, TPVVs on 3PAR arrays, Configuring and
managing Virtual, Physical and Remote copies on 3PAR, Mapping storage to Hosts and
Host sets (Cluster) on 3PAR, Working on Incidents, Problem and request cases
following the ITIL Process.
I have attended the “Managing HP 3PAR Disk Arrays” Course and “Managing 3PAR Disk Array:
Replication and Performance”.
Beside this I’m still working as DBA for the Oracle DataBase, with administration in
the Oracle Solaris.
❖ Role and Responsibilities in Oracle 9i, 10g, 11g :
• Performing all basic Database Administration activities like Installation, Configuration, and User Management.
• Creating Schemas, Table Spaces, Creating Tables, Defining roles, etc.
• Installation & Configuration for Oracle Real Application Cluster (Oracle RAC) on Sun Platform.
• Installation Database, Configuring & Tuning for the Oracle Real Application Cluster on Sun Solaris Servers.
• Installation & Configuration for Oracle Data Guard for the Oracle Database.
• Installation & Configuration for Oracle Application Server on Linux & Solaris Platforms.
• Make the Disaster Recovery Site for Database.
❖ Role and Responsibilities in Solaris 9, 10 OS :
• Performing all basic System Administration activities like Installation, Configuration, User Management, Disk Management, File System Administration, Network Configurations, etc. on SPARC (Sun Solaris 10 OS) M5000 & M4000 SunFire V490, SunFire T2000, & Ultra Sparc (Enterprise 3500) machines.
• Daily Backup and Restoration scheduling (Incremental and full backups).
• Resolving technical problems & Managing the Servers M5000 & M4000, SunFire V490, SunFire T2000, & Ultra Sparc (Enterprise 3500), for better performance & accidental failure etc.
• Administration for the Sun StorEdge 3320 & Store6580 (with CAM).

•Using the NetBackup for backing up the Operating Platforms and Databases.
•Configuring the NetBackup pools, policies and scheduling Backups for different servers (Windows Servers, Sun Solaris servers, Linux servers, Oracle Database RAC environment, SQL Server, Exchange Server, and Mail servers.
•Configuring NetBackup Bare Metal Restore (BMR) for UNIX, Windows, Linux and Oracle.
•Using NetBackup for restore and also Bare Metal Restore (BMR) for UNIX, Windows, Linux and Oracle.
