Job purpose:
Perform transaction audit and comprehensive audit process in order to check non-compliance which directly affects the revenue of Dubai Customs
Job Description:
Planning and conducting individual risk-based audits with a view to identify control weaknesses and non-adherence with policies and procedures.
Preparing the Annual Audit plan based on the risk assessment
Performing preliminary compliance test to ensure that the transactions examined are in accordance with the documented Customs standard within the system under review.
Gathering, compiling and annotating relevant and competent audit evidence in support of audit findings
Properly documenting and cross-referencing working papers which support the audit field work, observations and conclusions.
Assisting the Team Leader in developing and implementing 'Continuous Monitoring' using existing Information Systems to obtain reports which enable identification of potential risks.
Reviewing and monitoring processes, internal controls, risk and performances of the customs Mirsal system
Preparing the draft audit reports with all evidence and audit findings based on the outcomes of transaction audits and reporting it to the management for further action
Conducting follow-up audits with the clients to ensure that all audit recommendations are accepted and have been implemented in accordance with Customs Policies and Procedures.
Job Purpose:
To validate live data extracted from several data sources in order to provide accurate non oil foreign trade statistics
Job Description:
Incorporating different Validation Rules for various data type in the system to maintain accuracy in data
Updating database with changes & ensuring all data is administered as required into SIPS/CTS
Verifying & updating accurate information regarding the consignments imported, exported
Co-ordinating with supervisors and ensuring that data are corrected as per the set norms
Re-Validating the data by running periodic exception reports to ensure that incorrect data (in doubts) is cross confirmed
Complying With Statistical Norms by validating the data existing in SIPS/CTS with documents passed & update commodities as per the appropriate Tariff nomenclature
Forwarding any misleading documents to the senior supervisors & returning them to the customs incase of short collection on duty rate computed
