Main duties & Responsibilities

• Ensuring that the quality manual and work practices followed in the company meet and exceeds requirements stated by ISO 9001 standard.
• Ensuring that the company’s operations conform to the quality manual.
• Defines, develops and implements quality assurance and quality control practices and procedures, test plans and other QA assessments.
• Prepare and implement Inspection & Test plans for products, services and incoming material.
• Responsible for ensuring Quality Objectives/KPI identified at all levels and updated on set frequencies.
• Authority to delegate corrective actions to eliminate non-conformists

• Monitors performance of the operations and effectiveness of implemented corrective actions.
• Generates statistical and quality reports regarding the operations & the processes on monthly basis.
• Responsible for the proper execution of the internal audits.
• Conducts management review meetings.
• Organize external audits and coordinates with auditing agencies.
• Represent company in customer audits
• Reports to top management on the performance of QMS and regarding any need for improvement to the QMS.
• Promotes the awareness of customer requirements throughout the organization.
• Provides guidance to the employees regarding the quality system.
• Authority to coordinate between different departments when necessary.
• Control After Sales Service procedure to handle customer complaints efficiently.
• Initiate overtime request for QC Inspectors and Calibration Technician as per work load.
• Monitor activities of QC Inspectors such as they are performing/witnessing stage and final tests or inspections, inspection and rejection reports are generated, rejection log is updated, daily activities are updated in system, product/material identification is in-place, maintenance activities are executed and records are filled, wok order routing is followed, man-hours are accounted in system properly, no job is executed without work order etc. as defined in job description for Quality Controller.
• Prepare daily/weekly inspection plans for QC and calibrations to be done. Initiate overtime request for QC Inspectors and Calibration Technician as per work load.
• Authorizes delivery after ensuring that product or service meets customer requirement and company specified requirement for product/service.
• Responsible for ensuring that all measuring tools in use have valid calibration.
• Responsible for handling after sales services mainly for warranties from customer and suppliers.
• Inspection, evaluation and investigation for root cause for any product failure which was supplied by AFI.

• Lead the Junior inspectors to understand the drawings, processes, inspection stages and documentation system.
• Monitoring whether the processes and systems are going on as per Customer quality plan, Work instruction, Quality procedure and Process control.
• Review and approve the changes (Design Change Request) engineering drawings/specifications to assure continued compliance with customer requirements.
• Receiving site feed back from the customer and find the causes for deviation and give trouble shoot to avoid repeated failure in the future.
• Coordinating with clients and inspection agency (Lloyds, BHEL, TUV etc.) and offering the products to customers (Carryout different type of tests based on code standards and customer requirement).
• Investigates all processes in manufacturing, testing (DYE PANETRANT, HYDRO TEST, PNUMATICN TEST, VACUMETEST, ULTRASONIC TEST, PWHT and also
Physical and chemical test of job, etc ) and inspection, which create non-conformances in the quality of the end product and makes recommendations for elimination of the cause.
• Responsible for Welder qualification as per ASME
• Knowledge in Designing of Jiggs and fixtures, Reading of Complicated drawing.
• Knowledge of rotating equipment, machining & Fabrication techniques.
• Evaluate Site Quality Audit and submit reports to Head Q.C
