Manage the accounts payable function
Review all purchase requisitions to ensure that Al Tayer groups purchasing policies and procedures are respected
Prepare vendor checks for the signature of the CEO, Director and group audit director.
Reconcile vendor and intercompany statement on a monthly basis.
Prepare monthly Bank Reconciliation Statements to ensure that all payments have been effected as per the advice and resolve differences, if any.
Prepare Bank Loans, Loan Instalments payable, Interest payable on Loan and keep update Bank Balance on due date of payments of Loan and Loan Interest.
Prepare Record of Vehicles purchase and record purchase Vouchers by following with the vendors for the vehicle purchase invoices.
Record all of National Car Rental Vehicles Insurance Expenses, Vehicles Repair & Maintenance, Vehicles Accident & Repair and Vehicles Washing Expenses, other overheads expenses with proper account codes and cost center on Autoline system Software.
Control and reconcile the petty cash fund.
Update PDC record in soft copy and confirmation of Bank balance available in Banks and ensure at the time of issuing of CHQ that not a single CHQ is bounced.
Prepare projected cash flow statement for the current month and the forthcoming months to ensure that at no point of time company faces cash crunch and defaults in payments
o Daily reconciliations of bank accounts of Bank of America’s Subsidiaries and Internal General Ledger accounts.
o Researching on the exceptions or out of balances, which appears in the reports, which reflects the balances of GL account and the application?
o If the exceptions is because of the application researching the exceptions in the reports which is uploaded by the business partners every day.
o To update and maintain the ledgers, including recoding reasons for outstanding items over a set period
o To create correcting journals/cashbook keyings for reconciliation purposes
o Investigation and analysis of outstanding items in the accounts.
o Coordinate the resolution of outstanding items with other departments like Cash match, CBU and Controls & Settlements.
o Produce reconciliation reports of outstanding items and their aging, also including action steps for resolution.
o To gain regulatory knowledge and ensure the knowledge is maintained
Prepare Monthly Bank Reconciliation Statement.
Processing daily invoices and matches them to their supporting authorizations and receiving records.
Reconciling vendor statements on a monthly basis and handle vendor and internal inquiries.
Raising and recording manual cheques for payments Reconciling advance payments and ensuring that all are cleared on a monthly basis.
Assisting and supporting the Accounting and Receiving section Preparing reports as well as month end and year end closings.
Petty cash payments and reconciliation's.
Preparing Monthly projected cash flow statement.
Monitoring status of funds in bank.
Coordinating with bank related to fund transfer.
Liaise with Auditor for audit engagement.
