Routine Operational Duties include
 Supervises all Agency related duties. Handles all administrative duties relating to Agency functions, including clerical work etc.
 Coordinating and updating all parties concerned of the latest movement or change of vessel position prior to, and during, vessel arrival and departure.
 Handling of vessels alongside berth. (From Registering to port control, arranging Pilotage for Berthing and Unberthing, Coordinate stevedore service companies, port facilities for discharging / loading cargos)
 Boarding to berthed vessels on arrival and prior to sailing.
 Handling vessels at Anchorage and Passing vessels- (Registering to port control, coordinating and arranging all the required services up to departure)
 Handling Oil Terminal Berth Vessels - Coordinating from Berthing to Departure, and informing in advance about the port rules, regulations and safety measures.
 Handling Cruise ships during their visit to Dubai and Coordinating all services with special attention.
 Preparing Crew List, Doing in and out clearance of Emigration, Cargo clearance and necessary documentations for the same.
 Crew handling & Coordinating with Manning Agencies for Crews, arranging Seamen Visa, Visiting Visa, Hotel Accommodation and transportation. Provide meet and assist services for arriving and departing crew members at all Dubai Port and coordinating for smooth embarkation and disembarkation. Connect crews, stores and spares to ships at anchorage and passing vessels via Company owned fast launches.
 Coordinating for Customs clearance and transportation for incoming and outgoing “ship spares in transit” via Dubai Air Ports and seaports.
 Logistics Coordination: Import and Export Documentation. Customs Clearance for import and exportation of ship spares in Transit, follow up for refunding customs deposit, Air cargo clearance etc.
 Port entry and exit (Gate Pass/Offshore) permits for personnel & goods.
 Co-ordinate supply of bunkers through Bunkering companies. Arranging and coordinating for the Vessel Principal with third party companies for De-slopping operation, De-mucking etc.
 Transfer of Bunkering surveyors, Class Inspectors to and from ships at anchorage and pier side. Arranging Diving team for underwater maintenance and survey at offshore.
 Co-ordinate and arrange fresh water through water barges at anchorage and pier side. Arranging Garbage collection and certification at anchorage and in berth.
 Arranging and delivering Cash to Master (CTM) on board.
 Liaison with Repair and survey companies. Arranging companies for Compass adjustment, Radar, Radio Repair, Flags, BA Charts etc.
 Arrangement of fast launches owned by outside companies to ensure smooth and timely Supply and Services as per Master’s request. Arranging Forklifts, Cranes and other Equipments for smooth handling of cargos for loading to supply boat for Anchorage vessels.
 Verifying all certifications required for the vessel operating in the UAE coastal areas as per Director General of Ports and Maritime affairs especially port of Registration, Insurance, P & I, IOPP, Safety, Radio telephony, Load line, Classification certificates. Sending important certificates to get NTA (National Transport Authority) Approval in advance and dealing all NTA all documentation.
 Closing and verifying the Activity report of vessels and sending to accounts department as per predefined format.
