planning an efficient preventive maintenance for the Transportation & Maintenance dept.
* Support all aspects of the Transport Operations on a day-to-day basis.
* Support all regional operations for resolution of any operational issues
* Secure the best vehicle option either by purchasing or leasing
* Maintain standby backup vehicles to face emergency downtimes

Accountable for the schedule and unscheduled maintenance of the delivery trucks and other support vehicles
to ensure the safe and economical usage of vehicles
* Managing end-to-end operations pertaining to Workshop, Repair & Maintenance for all Delivery Trucks and
Support Vehicles
* Designing and leading implementation of system solutions for the Fleet Unit to constantly improve KPI
monitoring and data collection
* Ensuring Fleet personnel complies with all company safety (W/Shop & Personal) standards
* Preparing strategic annual operating plans for the Fleet Department with the aim of improving deliverables at
lower cost
* Analyzing process purchase requisitions for parts, supplies and negotiating repair cost or parts pricing with
commercial vendors
* Reviewing financial/budget reports and developing annual operating budget plan
* Amplifying maintenance plans and ensuring all preventive maintenance activities are as per schedule to ensure
longer asset life
* Ensuring all documents are timely updated and filed in a systematic & orderly distributed as per legal
specifications
* Coordinating with the vehicle leasing company to ensure all contractual obligations from the vendor are carried
out as per the specification
* Answering telephonic & written correspondence, counseling, interviewing and preparing employee evaluations
* Developing, executing and monitoring adherence as per company policies and procedures

Management
Key Responsibilities:
* Handled the entire gamut of operations entailing to Fleet Management which includes managing a fleet of 250
delivery vans and 30 delivery trucks at JED and WR Locations
* Accountable for fleet maintenance program, fuel control, driver file compliance & vendor relationship
management
* Coordinated with the internal stakeholders to identify issues and developed viable solutions
* Analyzed and identified operating improvements through teamwork and effective coaching
* Conceptualized and implemented a comprehensive Driver / Fleet Safety Program

the vehicle

* Reviewed monthly invoices of all leased vehicles and recorded them by matching FMS Master Invoice
* Maintained records of all credit notes and accident reports
* Updated all vehicles records on the vehicle management system which includes the below information:
o Vehicle details such as fleet number, manufacturer and model incense plate number
o Insurance and leasing company (name and contact information)
