Deployment of Lean methodology/Total Productive Management (TPM) in the plant.

Support & collaborate all Pillars for implementation of Manufacturing Performance System (MPS)

Optimize the efficiencies of all production lines and other related functional areas by reducing production and process waste.

Responsible for developing and driving Site Focused Improvement (FI) & Training Development (TnD) strategy; building knowledge base, capability and standards,

Track plant performance, MPS Process Capability assessment, FI & TnD Pillar metrics.

Conduct Genba to analyse line performance, carry out Pareto analysis and carry out root cause failure analysis with a view to resolving minor stops, chronic and sporadic losses on the line. 

Support the Quality Pillar in delivering on the Plant KPIs as per the glide path target.

Assist Engineering / SHE Lead to provide engineering, utility and safety supports with regard to sustaining optimal production processes.

Deliver KPI’s aimed to support the company Fiscal & 5 year strategies with focus on improving Delivered Profit Margins.

 Control the performance of the process and all the lines by establishing and implementing proper performance measures.
 Review and execute improvements influencing the daily line performance.
 Control product quality as influenced by Process, filling levels, general product appearance and keeps reject / scrap level to a minimum.
 Organize Processes across 3 high speed fully automated lines thereby managing a team of total 52 workers (Including Contractual) with their work timings, O.T, production schedule.
 Review the Performance of all the operators for annual appraisals, deliver training & coaching to maximize their potential to create a World Class Manufacturing industry.
 Ensures all machinery and equipment in the process and the lines are operated in a safe manner, kept in good condition by observing good housekeeping standards.
 Responsible to create, document, develop, and implement SOP, SHERA and other Assessments on all lines.
 Support Product development trials with Technical teams (QC) for new product or raw material changes and substitutes.
 Liaise with external sources on equipment up gradation/break down issues.
 Responsible to develop workers aptitude towards lean management philosophy followed by Pillar deployment supporting the Global Lean initiative of building capability at the shop floor.
 Responsible for Audit control and inventory management. Implement Good Manufacturing Practices across the plant
 Lead Kaizen teams / Loss Teams aiming for cost saving initiatives and improvements
 Lead continuous improvement projects on the Shop floor including layout redesigning based on man-machine interaction.
 Deliver KPI’s aimed to support the company Fiscal & 5 year strategies with focus on improving Delivered Profit Margins.

 Develop an order to manufacture cycle for a business, aimed to reduce the lead time and logistics expenses.
 Responsible to Manage Production as per schedules based on orders & Raw materials availability.
 Deliver target results on Production reports set out by the Operations Manager.
 Manage work force in terms of allocation of hours and production across all sections.
 Ensure to achieve zero non-conformance issues on quality of products manufactured in line
 Ensure stringent adherence of HSE policies as per Groups directive and local regulations across all the sections of the factory.

 Conducted research work on a fluid from FUCH, a leading manufacturer of lubricants.
 Sole responsibility for carrying out experimentation within tight time lines and as per schedule.
 Liaise with the suppliers and technicians at all levels.
 Prepare a report on the fluid properties on different machining operations.
 Drafted and Executed a Fluid Evaluation report for Rolls Royce on behalf of University Technology Centre (UTC).
