• Develop multi-year sourcing plans for IT & Non-IT categories for the overall spend and oversee the creation, and execution of strategic sourcing initiatives to achieve saving goals.
• Leading a team of 26 procurement professionals by supporting, communicating with, and uplifting team members so they perform to the best of their abilities and continue to grow as professionals.
• Engage senior business stakeholders and be actively involved in strategic planning, savings tracking, supplier development, and service improvements.
• Identify opportunities to improve spend analytics data and insights, use of e-Sourcing tools, adoption of 7-Step Sourcing Process, contract management, and compliance with P2P processes.
• Negotiate agreements with selected suppliers, prepare supporting documentation and contract language, as needed, and coordinate with legal, accounting, and executive personnel during the approval process, as required.
• Evaluate Supplier Relationship Management via quarterly reviews for all strategic suppliers, monitoring supplier performance, contract execution and cost reduction.
• Building strong partnerships and collaborate with cross-functional teams of internal stakeholders including line of business, IT, finance, risk, legal and HR personnel to execute large strategic and tactical projects.
• Lead transformational activities to build procurement organizational capabilities and improve procurement efficiency.
• Developed and implemented changes in processes to accommodate changing customer support/global sustainment requirements.
• Plan and execute, with Executive approval, annual cost reduction, resourcing, and supplier development programs to achieve Procurement KPIs and roll up into the larger Supply Chain dashboard.
• Communicate and work with Suppliers to implement continuous improvement projects as driven by their Supplier Scorecard.
