- Manage the creation of bids and presentations in response to tender
opportunities and lead the end-to-end bid process, including opportunity
identification, qualification, and proposal submission.
- Develop compelling and persuasive bid content, including executive
summaries, value propositions, pricing models, and technical responses.
- Define and develop the bid process and work with pricing teams to develop
competitive pricing strategies that align with bid requirements and profitability
targets.
- Management and delivery of winning bids that are profitable, executable, and
aligned with the customer and business objectives.
- Writing articulate, concise content, executive summaries, presentations, and
other documents as required.
- Design and implement a full suite of bid reporting KPIs.
- Follow all governance and bid management standards and processes.
- Where necessary, assist in the selection, assembly, and commercial
interactions with third-party vendors.
- Act as a liaison point with external stakeholders.
- Provide support when required in major customer bid presentations by
generating appropriate material and attending events needed.
- Responsible for the content of bid collateral documentation relating to their
aligned area.
- Conduct post-bid analysis and debrief sessions to identify areas of
improvement and implement lessons learned for future bids.
- Continuously refine and improve bid processes, templates, and best
practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop unique
selling propositions and differentiators.
- Attending court hearings (and doing the preparation beforehand)
- Drawing up contracts and other legal documents
- Negotiating (not all cases will end up in court)
- Explaining the law and giving general legal advice
- Settling disputes and supervising any agreements
- Researching and gathering evidence
- Analysing legal documents
- Supervising legal assistants.
