Job profile and responsibilities:-
Managing the health checkup reports for each NetAct OSS Circle.
Troubleshooting issue related Fault, Performance and Configuration.
Managing and maintaining NetAct User and Network Element’s User.
Integration/Configuration of 2G and 3G Network Elements in OSS.
Monitoring Daily Incremental Backup and Error logs of Different OSS servers.
Monthly Offline/Image Complete Backup of file system, database and Window server.
Restoring Backup whenever it required.
Preparing and scheduling Scripts & Reports.
Configuring router-switches for Customer, Troubleshoots network for issue.
Integration new network element(NE) in OSS (BSC, MSC, MGW)
Upgrade NE configuration in OSS
Manage red hat cluster (HA Cluster)
User management for all circles including creation/deletion.
Taking Backup of all servers - Offline / Online / Image backup.
Provide Technical Support for NetAct Application which is running on OSS server.
Responsible for the operation and maintenance of NOKIA wireless GSM network(BSC 3i & OSS 3.1/5.2) consisting of multiple BSCs, BTSs that includes Citrix applications, Net act CM Editor, Base stations, Packet Data Networks and Management tools.
Implementation of OSS 5.2 : It was the most important and challenging project for me, it involve the hole OSS swap from OSS 3.1 to OSS 5.2 for 38 Nokia BSCs with minimum outage.
During OSS 5.2 implementation (BSNL SEQ Project) I have integrated all the 38 Nokia BSCs to OSS individually.
Created all the X.25 links (Main and Redundant) to the Cisco Routers.
Configured all E1T1 cards used in for X.25 link to the Cisco Routers.
Configured Gigabit Ethernet Ports used in Cisco Routers.
Added all database of BSCs in OSS (Added all information each BCF & BTS contained in a BSC like BCF Name, BTS name, Segment ID and Segment Name of each BTS by running plan through CM Editor Tool).
In OSS 5.2 I am handling 8 Blade Servers (HP Inc.) that include 2 Connectivity Nodes (CS1, CS2), 2 Data Storage Nodes (DS1, DS2), 2 LinAS Nodes (linas1, linas2), 2 GUIS Nodes (guis1, guis2)., 2 Cisco Routers, 3 Cisco Switches, EMC CX4-120 data storage Units.
