• IPC valuation for supervision consultant, contractors and recommending it to the client.
• Valuation of Variation order and preparing the recommendation.
• Assessing the Provisional Sum items through Cost Scope Analysis (CSA) and recommending it to the Client.
• Negotiations with the Contractors & Suppliers.
• Preparing Rough Cost Estimates and Cost to Complete.
• Prepare and present Monthly Commercial cost reports, Variation Logs to employer as required.
• Performing value engineering as required by Client.
• Project close-out procedures in accordance with the contractual terms and conditions.
• Attend commercial meeting to expedite the work.
• Quantity Take-off for MEP works and preparing BOQ in CSI format for Pre-Contract works.
• Reviewing and evaluating of IPC’s and variation orders submitted by the contractor.
• Assist Contracts Engineer for preparing contractual letters to Contractor/Employer as instructed by Project Manager.
• Maintaining the Payment Tracking Log for all the variations works / Change Orders.
• Reviewing all de-scope items, as per client requirement.
• Preparation of projection of costs as required.
• Attend commercial meeting to expedite the work.
• Coordination with MEP team for any Commercial issues/correspondences.
• Working on Variations including processing of Identification of Potential Variations (IDVs), technical coordination with the different departments for assessment of IDV and once established, communicating the Engineer in the form of Notice of Variations (NOVs).
• Quantification & Costing of approved NOVs for submission Request for Approval of Variation.
• Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for additional works.
• Providing input into the monthly commercial report on the status of the variations with details of those agreed in progress or disputed.
• Preparation of rate analysis for extra items / non-tendered items.
• Pre-Contract works that includes Quantities Take offs & Bill of Quantity Preparation and floating Enquiries to subcontractors and suppliers.
• Evaluation of Interim Payment Application submitted by the Contractor.
• Preparing and compiling variation claim document with all relevant substantiation to the satisfaction of the Employer.
• Prepare & Compile “Final Accounts Payment application” with relevant documents as per contract obligations.
• Analyse and Recommend Subcontract payment application based on actual progress of work.
• Attend progress meetings and provide updates to Client with projection of costs as required, Visit Site as and when required.
• Maintaining Commercial Logs.
