working as a civil engineer and supervising the elevated stations (ES1H2 ES1J1 and ES1J2) of the line -01 package -01. I was also partially involved in the tunnel and viaduct.
Partially involved in north viaduct From Feb. 2017 to June 2018:
worked as a civil engineer on the north viaduct bridge and supervised the viaduct bridge starting of deep underground station 1A2 to the north depot of line -1, package -1.
Partially involved in Tunnel From August 2015 to Jan. 2017:
worked as a civil engineer tunnel and supervised the underground activities of the EPB tunnel machines (Orange TBM -Mneefa & Blue TBM -Thaqeeba) of the line -01 package -0. Whereas the Blue EPB machine scope of 3.2 km was moving from NLS to underground station A2 and the Orange EPB machine scope of 6.1 km was moving from NLS to underground station 1D2.
Worked as a Civil Sr. Engineer Interface on Infrastructure Project (Mukundpur to Shalimar bagh twins tunnels along with one deep underground station/cut & cover of Delhi Metro Rail Project CC- 04/ Phase-III). Handling / involved in the following activities:
• Interfacing with all System Wise Contractors (SWC) for Underground stations, Tunnel, Ventilation, ECS, E&M, Traction & Power supply, Signaling & Telecom, AFC, Escalators, Lifts, and Track. Etc. & adjacent Contractors.
• Implementation of Interface management Plan.
• Proper follow up as an interface for the retrieval of TBM at shalimar bagh deep underground station shaft.
• Review & Implementation of CIP (Co-ordination Integration Program) wrt to key dates & delivery program by system contractor.
• Organize a weekly Interface meeting with all system contractor & Civil contractor.
• Reviewing of DID (detail Interface document)
• Reviewing of Interface matrix during design stage, construction stage & installation stage and ensure that the requirement of system contractor is fulfill.
• Reviewing of equipment delivery route.
• Co-ordination with system contractor & site in charge for provision of lifting hooks.
• Joint inspection at site to ensure that provision of sleeves & opening as per Combined Services Drawing (CSD) & SEM.
• OHE layout implementation, earthing in cut & cover & underground station.
• Reviewing of Temporary opening for lowering of equipment’s & rail.
• Monitoring of key date, handing over area to System wise contractor.

Duartion - 36 Months (Phase-I & II)
Contract Value - IRs 300 Crores.
Handling / involved in the following activities:
•Monitoring the progress of various works/activities at site, to ensure the progress to be in line with planned construction schedule and submitting the daily/weekly and monthly reports to the Management.
•Liasioning with the PMC and the Contractors for the changes advised by the End Users (EUs) in the drawings / specifications.
•Attending daily, weekly and monthly construction progress coordination and safety meetings with PMC and the Contractors and recording the Lessons Learnt/Actions to be taken.
•Monitoring the quality of materials being delivered to site (for incorporating in to the permanent works) w.r.t their brand/make, Mill/Test certificates, QA/QC documents to ensure compliance with Contract specifications/standards.
•Monitoring and reviewing the reports of onsite tests (viz. concrete cube test, silt content test, brick moisture test, brick strength test & slump test etc.) of materials.
•Monitoring and checking the line, levels & form of various in-situ activities (viz. shuttering, scaffolding, reinforcement fixing, concreting, de-shuttering etc.).
•Reviewing and checking the quality & quantity of various ongoing site works/activities (viz. fabrication, erection of structural steel works, RCC construction works, excavation & back filling works, cladding & tiling works, plastering & painting works, plumbing & sanitary works, aluminium, steel & wood works, site utilities works etc.).
•Proper follow up with various contractors/subcontractors (by issuing official reminders) for required mobilization of manpower, materials/equipment etc. to ensure timely & qualitative completion of their works, to achieve the planned construction progress.
•Reviewing & certifying monthly PCs (Payment Certificates) of Contractors for progressive works, per requirement of drawings, specifications & Contract BOQs.
•Reviewing & verifying the claims of contractors for extra items and resolving the same with the Contractors amicably (with due consultation from Consultant/Management), in order to regularize the Change orders.
•Handling day to day Contractual correspondence & maintaining proper logs/files of the same.
•Preparing & reviewing monthly RAB (running account bill) of the Contract for progressive payments of the executed works/services.
•Coordinating with Company’s concerned teams, for providing the achieved progress of the works along with required backup documents (QC Reports, Test Reports, Survey Reports etc.) for executed items.
•Reviewing the quantities of the works/items w.r.t the subcontractors submitted progress and rectifying the same in case of discrepancies with due concurrence of concerned Company’s team.
•Working out the escalations of the Contract rates w.r.t involved components (viz, Labour, Steel, Cement, Equipment/Vehicles & Fuel/Lubricant etc.) to be considered in the monthly RAB of the Contract.
•Reconciling the quantities of the major materials (viz. Steel, Concrete, Masonry, etc.) as per the invoices of the Suppliers to ensure the wastages are under acceptable limits.
•Identifying from AFC drawings and documents the extra items of works/services and transmitting the same information to the Client for further actions.
•Building-up the star rates of extra items of works/services on the basis of LMEs (Labour, Materials & Equipments) rates available in the Contract and coordinating/negotiating for Client’s approval of the same in order to claim the progress of such executed items in monthly RAB.
•Reviewing the client certified RABs w.r.t quantities, rates & amounts in order to work out the strategy for next RAB.
•Ensuring proper provisions of strutting / shoring during excavation activities as per the guidelines of DMRC manuals and project specifications, in order to carry out the works in a safe & secure manner.
•Supervision & monitoring of shuttering / scaffolding activities in accordance to the drawings & working procedures.
•Reviewing reinforcement drawings and BBS (Bar Bending Schedules) for proper assembly & placement of the reinforcements.
•Supervising & monitoring of reinforcement fixing, placement & lowering activities with due care of staggering joints of overlapped bars as per drawings & specifications.
•Ensuring proper placement/insertions of electrical and sanitary accessories (viz. electrical conduit pipes, drainage pipes, cover blocks etc.) before the start of concreting operations in order to avoid later on modifications/re-works.
•Ensuring proper cut-outs/openings at specified locations as per the details of drawings & specifications during reinforcement fixing/placement activities.
•Ensuring sufficient availability of materials, equipments & manpower (viz. no. of concrete pumps/booms, no. & type of vibrators, no. of supervisors/labourers etc.) during the concreting activities.
•Supervising & monitoring of concreting activities (viz. quality of concrete, placement of concrete, use of proper vibrators etc.) in order to avoid honey combing/bleeding in concrete.
•Ensuring sufficient & proper curing of casted elements/portions as per project specifications & procedures, in order to allow for proper strength developments.
•Ensuring proper de-shuttering of casted elements/portions as per the drawings & specifications.
•Carrying out modification/enhancement works on finished concrete elements/portions, if any, to meet the requirement of drawings & specifications.
•Reviewing & monitoring the progress of subcontractor’s works/services w.r.t required quality/quantity.
•Attending regular safety meetings to ensure the excavation of works are being carried out in a safe & secure environment.
•Attending progress review meetings as and when asked for, to ensure the activities are being carried out as per project execution plan.
