• Manage company’s Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Management systems and also maintain them in accordance with the policies.
• Complying of site HSE performance statistic and submitting of monthly report to head office.
• Drive the corporate HSE Excellence program for achieving high levels of HSE performance.
• Coordinate to fulfill the local regulatory requirements as per the corporate standard levels.
• Coordinate for safe erection and commissioning of new projects.
• Initiate and coordinate for implementation of proper waste management system.
• Design and implementation of permit system to control the non-routine work activities in safe manner.
• Initiate and drive the safety and environment promotional activities.
• Liaise with departments and clients in controlling the permit to work system
• Carry out regular and random inspections on all sites and record results.
• Organize and procure new safety equipment to control the risk.
• Carry out risk assessment of new machines as well as existing machines.
1 Awareness and understanding of all safety and regulation in the company.
2 Familiarity with the site specific safety manual.
3 Ensure that subcontractors operate in a safe manner and comply with the project safety policy.
4 Liaise with departments and clients in controlling the permit to work system.
5 Carry out regular and random inspections on all sites and record results.
6 Record and compile safety statistics.
7 Maintain the necessary safety related records.
8 Develop and implement safe systems of work for the project in conjunction with the safety manager.
9 Carry out site Inspection on regular basis to ensure the proper Implementation / Adherence of Health, Safety and Environment Standards as per company OHS & HSE policy.
10 Ensure that risk assessments have been carried out where necessary.
11 Ensure the use of protective clothing and equipment for the job.
12 Report any injuries resulting from work activities.
13 Investigate into site accidents and analyze causes and associated preventive actions.
14 Conduct monthly HSE audit to other projects.
15 COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) assessment, maintaining the MSDS of the substances used at site and communicating the H&S information to the Employees.
16 Investigation of Incidents/Accidents, Review Progress and Recommend Corrective / Preventive Measures. Carrying out Risk Assessment of Potentially Hazardous Operation and Implement Fire Preventive Measures.
