• Prepare and review Job Method Statements (JMS) and Job Hazard Analysis (JHA). Enforce PTW and LOTO compliance while coordinating closely with operations, vendors, and contractors.

• Part of Operation & Maintenance (O&M) team for Pengerang Deepwater Terminals supporting tank farm (17 petroleum product tanks) and jetty operations (6 Marine Loading Arms & 3 berths) with total storage capacity of 430, 000 m³.
• Responsible for maintenance and reliability of 80 pumps, 5 diesel engine firewater pumps (Caterpillar C18), compressors, generators, and associated piping systems. Led daily maintenance planning and execution using SAP CMMS.
• Conducted root cause analysis (RCA) on equipment failures and implemented corrective actions to reduce recurrence, successfully reduced the downtime hours of product pump by 30%, reducing pump stoppage frequency during transfer operations from monthly to quarterly.
• Proposed and implemented vibration spectrum analysis program following pump failure RCA, enabling early detection of bearing issues and supporting cost avoidance from major equipment breakdowns of RM100, 000 per day.
• Coordinated Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) activities including DOSH PMT renewal, UTTG, PSV calibration, and API 510 inspections. Managed CAPEX and OPEX tracking and prepared technical proposals for equipment improvement projects.
