Offshore operation Coordinator

Roles & Responsibilities:
• Technically assisting in lifting equipment inspection and services with the concerned departments for a fleet of 12-Nos. offshore construction vessels and other tug boats, for the project to comply with local and international regulations.
• To carry out internal inspection/audit of lifting equipment which includes offshore cranes, crawler cranes, Containers, forklift, mooring & tugger winches, lifeboat davit and winch, runway beams, chain hoists, A frame, launch and recovery system, CCU’s and all Loose lifting gears in vessel to achieve safety and efficient operation in the field.
• Onshore/Offshore lifting gears and equipment inspection and certification for the project.
• Document control for the vessels being built in NPCC; download the documents and drawings of these vessels through File Transfer Platform (FTP) servers of the respective consultants / yards.
• Document control, document archiving, document imaging and maintenance of document register for Construction Projects.
• Receives and registers Client provided document for Construction Engineering projects, including in-house generated document.
• Raise Non-conformance report/corrective action; assist in technical queries and following up close-out, prior to client inspection.
• Maintain Non-conformance register.
• To develop and maintain lifting equipment management system as per standards, inspection procedure and regulations.
• Prepares Inspection Request Order assignment to the Third Party Inspection Agency.
• Prepare Time sheet for the Third Party Inspection Agency.
• Coordinate & perform third party inspection & certification for all type of lifting equipment and loose lifting gears periodically.
• Ensures proper document classification, sorting, filing and proper archiving
• Review third party inspection certificates for any amendment or correction.
• Attend client inspections and fulfill the client requirements to close NCR for barge readiness and acceptance to the project.
• Maintain management system with records updates.
• Review client’s Code of Practice and prepare action plans for lifting equipment modification.
• Arrange Transportation for Loading and Offloading Materials.
• Arrange Lifting Appliances and Accessories items such as Crawler crane, Fork lift, Tuggers,
Shackles, Snatch blocks, etc for the Mobilizations of a barge as required.
• Prepares engineering project reports, as may be required, Memos, Letters and Faxes and maintains the section library.
• Performs file backup to ensure proper storage and archiving of electronic registers.
• Preparing Leave request and return requests as needed by the section engineers for both personal and business needs.
• Prepare Purchase Requisition (PR) for the new materials.
• Prepare Stores Demand Issue Vouchers (SDIV) for the materials as required from the barge.
• Major Clients - ADNOC, ARAMCO, ONGC, Dana Gas, Bunduq, PETRONAS, Gasco
