Strategy Formulation, Implementation and Planning:
Formulate and lead the implementation of the IT strategy in line with the company vision, mission and corporate objectives.
Ensure that the overall strategy is translated into annual operational business plans for IT and the performance is monitored annually to ensure business plans are in line with the overall strategy.
Lead the business process analysis, optimization, mapping and modeling.
Leadership:
Manage the various IT functions and lead the team individual objectives, performance, motivation and acquired skills. By coaching, formal and informal feedback and appraisal to ensure the maximum level of professionalism and performance.
Manage System, Network, ERP, Backup, Storage and Help Desk staffs, facilitate communication, and resolve conflicts.
Identify User/Team member required training and awareness sessions. Support subordinate career path development plans. Manage employee hiring and performance management.
Evaluate, select and manage solutions providers, vendors and business partners.
Organization Structure:
Define an optimum organization structure and direct the development of functional structures so that resources are optimally utilized, and communication can take place in an efficient manner.
Budgets and Plans:
Direct / manage the preparation and consolidation of the IT budgets and monitor financial performance versus the budget so that the business is aware of anticipated costs/revenues.
Lead successful cost saving measures and operational efficiency initiatives
Roll out and Implementation:
Manage the roll out of the IT projects, from definition and envisioning stage through the analysis, design and implementation stage ensuring optimum integration level of business to the ERP systems.
Develop plans and advise management on optimizing the use of ERP systems and resources across the organization to identify and maximize opportunities to improve and support business process.
IT Infrastructure / Security:
Manage the acquisition, implementation and maintenance of the hardware & software that meet the expected outcomes of the IT-enabled programs and is in accordance with the business needs.
Develop and follow a set of procedures and standards within IT that is consistent with organization’s overall procurement process to acquire IT infrastructure, facilities, hardware, software and services.
Provide guidance on complex issues for the implementation of the IT infrastructure.
Lead current IT and operations environment and anticipate the future needs.
Develop techniques and procedures for conducting IT security risk assessments and compliance audits, evaluation and testing of hardware, firmware and software for possible impact on system security, and investigation and resolution of security incidents.
Ensure the development and implementation of security, crisis/risk management and business continuity/disaster recovery programs
Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures:
Direct / manage the development & implementation of IT policies, processes, procedures covering different areas of function to fulfil all procedural/legislative requirements.
Management Reports:
Ensure that all functional/departmental reports are completed timely and comply with the company policies and standards.
Direct the preparation of periodical management reports and progress reports to keep the senior management informed about the progress of various initiatives and to facilitate decision making.
Budgets and Planning:
Preparation and consolidation of the Software and Hardware IT budgets and monitor financial performance.
Quarterly budget review to monitor the financial performance.
Maintain and guide on IT standards, procedures and techniques
Create and validate a plan for maintaining continuous business operations during disasters.
Create and implement business continuity and impact analysis plans
Responsible for systems design, architecture, capacity planning, operational management, systems employment, application support, and troubleshooting
Team Management:
Motivating the IT team in order to achieve the highest standards and KPI targets.
Preparing the day-to-day tasks and workloads for the IT staff and coordinating the daily allocation of work.
