Project Brief
As an Alliance team in the BEPCC work included basic design, engineering, procurement,
installation, testing, pre-commissioning, commissioning and performance test of the SAMUR
located in Sabah Malaysia, consisting of site preparation, landscaping, security services, civil
works, temporary facilities, inland transportation and process buildings as well as development of
a Jetty and bagging plant.
Responsibilities
 Manage and coordinate with multi discipline design engineering as well as construction team.
 To monitor and observed the Construction and Fabrication activities ensuring contractors are
performing well as per plan and schedule. Highpoint to Construction manager when found delay in
progress and other problem observed with issuing site notification to Contractor. Report and create
recommendation that will enhance the project efficiency and to reduce potential problem at the same
time enforced the Contractor to expedite with the work.
 To ensure the Contractor executes the project in full compliance with its term and condition of
contract, project specific procedure and specification.
 Review, coordinate and monitor Contractor planning and scheduling. Monitor actual project
progress achieve against planned with controlling variance.
 Involve in design review and assessment in 5 packages:

- Environment Impact Assessments
- Basic & Detail Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning (BEPCC)

located in Palouge, consisting of crude oil processing equipment, production separators, booster
pumps, custody transfer meter system, nitrogen generator system, knockout drum & water seal
drum, cold vent, launchers and receivers as well as produced water system; the Central Processing
Facility (CPF) at Al-Jabalyn for the final treatment of the oil for export and 250km of produced
water 12” pipeline between Palouge and Al-Jabalyn.
Responsibilities
 Manage and coordinate multi discipline design engineering team.
 Basic design of Civil Structural work. Design more on pipe support, structural frame, pipe rack,
footing & foundation, infra works (sewerage & drainage system) and other civil structural scope.
 Work scope more on Engineering, Procurement, and Commissioning work at site.
 Work as civil structural engineer with Engineering Team.
 Hot Tapping work supervision and completion at plant.
 Planning and scheduling of work activities.
 Involved in issues such as Electrical, mechanical, piping and civil structural work.

 Responsible in managing all Project and Contract Services, Scope, Quality, Reporting, Schedule,
Risk Analysis, Cost control, Manpower/Equipment/Tools/Consumables Loading, Procurement and
Local Authority Clearance in order to ensure smooth completion of various projects.
 To conduct welder testing (WQT), test piece visual inspection and welding test bays preparation.
 Surveillance and Ensuring the Correct Filler/Electrodes are utilized as per WPS on welding
activities.

production target capacity of 35, 000 BOPD for 90 days after first oil and 60, 000 BOPD for
remaining of 2013 before progressively increase production to reach Plateau Production
Target (PPT) of 230, 000 BOPD, by 2017.
