Head unit of General Takaful Training for staff and agents.
Despite having to solicit business through the bank we are also required to do our own underwriting. Need to also get our engineer to survey the risk premises for better understanding of the risk.
Initially handle Underwriting and Reinsurance of risk for the company. Later lead a team of 15 people to set up recovery team.
Underwriting and marketing of overseas facultative reinsurance risk
Manage the day to day administration of the Undwerwriting dept and ensure all the necessary risk accept are being placed out in case it exceed the company treaty.
Chartered Islamic Finance Professional is a Masters equivalent program for Islamic Finance practitioners. Student are graded based on pass or fail. Subjects taught are with regards to all aspect of Islamic Finance.
ADBS Insurance is a local program affiliated with The CII London. The syllabus is approved by The CII but prepared by local lecturers. Subjects are similar with the one taught by The CII London. Besides that we are required to undergo industrial attachment at any insurance company. Even though I only graduated with 2.33 GPA, during my career I have been exposed to various classes of insurance.
