Review and evaluate the contractor Interim Payment Application (IPA) prior to Preparing IPC
Preparing detailed claims for payment in accordance with the conditions of contract ensuring all claims are fully documented with supporting details
Evaluate and interpret main contract, subcontract and supply conditions and obligations and advise management and project team on liabilities and risks under the contractual arrangements
Review of Bonds and Insurances as submitted by the Contractor
Cost control techniques: Labor rate analysis and Material cost monitoring and controlling and earned value management reports
Preparing CTC along with all require and supporting logs (variation, provisional sums, IPC’s, etc., )
Identifying and handling variations & additional works based on Engineering Instructions (EI)
Preparing, Evaluation and Negotiation of Contractual claims and Counter claims
Preparing value engineering (VE), when required/permitted, to ensures the owner is not over-paying for quality when an equally effective, less expensive option exists
Preparing the Qty takeoff sheet as per the standard measurements (Principle of measurements (POMI) and New Rules of Measurement (NRM-2))
Preparing initial ROM (Rough Order Magnitude) cost estimates to establish project budget and strategic thought processes
Preparing cost plan for varies stages (CD / DD / SD) available drawings
Study/Review of tender documents scope of work, drawing, BOQ, specifications, Addendums, client requirements, terms & conditions etc. from the tender documents for proper estimating of construction works
Carrying out tender evaluation and Preparing tender reports
Preparing initial ROM (Rough Order Magnitude) cost estimates to establish project budget and strategic thought processes
Preparing cost plan for varies stages (CD / DD / SD) available drawings
Study/Review of tender documents scope of work, drawing, BOQ, specifications, Addendums, client requirements, terms & conditions etc. from the tender documents for proper estimating of construction works
Carrying out tender evaluation and Preparing tender reports
Pricing material and labor cost of each BOQ item in the price comparison sheet by using the quotation and a pre-determined manpower production rate
Preparing technical queries for ambiguities in drawing, specification and BOQ
List out and segregate the Qty’s based on Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) standards
Estimate & plan the projects based on New Rules of Measurement (NRM-1) standards
Preparing the Qty takeoff sheet based on the standard method of measurements (Principle of measurements International (POMI) & New Rules of Measurement (NRM-2))
Preparing value engineering (VE) when required/permitted, to ensures the owner is not over-paying for quality when an equally effective, less expensive option exists
Analyzing costs by studying historical data and Benchmark, identifying trends in expenses, and recommending cost reduction strategies
Supports clients by Preparing and managing client budgets, costs, and contingencies for large projects.
Develop and maintain a database of costed parts and Budget reports
Preparing BOQ unit prices as per tender BOQ format and filling
Preparing Preliminary Cost estimate in accordance with prescribed standards and procedures
Preparing Qualification, Assumption, inclusion and Exclusions and proposed vendor list as applicable
Preparing pre-bid risk evaluation of the project for final submission
Preparing and send RFQ for all the items to all approved equal suppliers/sub-contractors to obtain required quotations
Follow up with the supplier/sub-contractor to obtain quotation in time, clarify to all their queries and meetings with the supplier/sub-contractor when required
Attend meetings as required and audit compliance

Forecasting labor needs for future projects by analyzing workloads and project schedules
Recording all necessary information for potential Claims, Variations and Extensions for Time
Coordinate with project manager staff to establish initial budgets, develop cost estimates working with suppliers and other sources, and perform monthly Estimate at Completions on projects
Analyze projects to ensure that project funding is adequate by performing estimates, cost forecasts, cost trends, and accrual of actual costs
Working with other departments to identify opportunities for increasing efficiency or improving workflow processes within the organization
Coordinate and liaise with Area Managers and other internal / external parties and vendors to ensure all construction packages are identified
