i am working in an oncology pediatrics unit with a ratio 1:3, 4 that provide the care for a pediatrics having many cancer cases by administering for them chemotherapy and care and dealing with critical cases such as febrile neutropenea or tumer lyses and also with cardia arrest, also because i am working in AUBMC i become a professional RN That can i manage and solve any problem can face me in my work.
• 03/11/2010 (till now) Working in Hammoud Hospital as a registered nurse in coronary care unit: During my work I am responsible to provide the maximum professional care for cardiac critical patients (ratio: 1 RN: 4 or 3 patients) in a coronary care unit (180 hour/ month) by being a leadership and dealing with patients who may have cardiac functioning abnormalities such as arrhythmia, Congestive heart failure, MI, stable and unstable angina, emergent invasive procedures such as cardiac catheterization, PTCA, post CABG monitoring, CVA, also providing the intensive care for intubated patients that complain ARDS by continues monitoring for ECG, daily neurological assessment, suctioning, monitoring input and output, NG feeding, dealing with mechanical ventilation machine and managing the work as a team between nursing staff and medical staff, frequent documentation. Also administering the adequate medication by safety using pump syringe or regular intravenous settings and dealing with emergency cases such as cardiac arrest by providing the basic and advanced life support.
Moreover I share my knowledge with the staff by providing lectures and developing my skills by reading policies and procedure and making competencies and improving the quality of care in hospital.
