• Use of big data and analytics to analyze and evaluate stock movement (based on month-of-coverage/slow-movement) to identify components having potential for sale.
• Closing sales of high value spares thereby playing an integral part in asset life cycle management and adding to airline revenue.
• Liaison with departments including, but not limited to Maintenance Planning, Component Management, Technical Records to satisfy various requirements and, ensure all compliance requirements are met prior to sale along with non-incident declarations.
• Coordinate with material planners to validate EOL (end-of-lease) inventory requirements for current fleet and requirements to support phase-out.
• Stock reconciliation of massive sale packages to ensure accurate financials are presented to the buyer.
• Successfully closed financial year with sales of USD 15.5 mil in the last fiscal year despite a volatile aviation spares market.
• Nominated as a ‘champion’ for the new performance development module, and guiding them to develop & achieve S.M.A.R.T. goals.
• Document verification of new incoming aircraft parts and their Manufacturers/Vendor.
• Virtual audit of new part request's attributes through study of aircraft manuals/documents like AMM, CMM, IPC, SB, EO etc.
• Part setup & relationship establishment in inventory system 'Ultramain'
• Taking action on item shortages/excess as well as on DBNU items to ensure stock accuracy for relevant departments.
• Supervision of daily inventory cycle counts and stock reconciliation projects.
• Liaise with Engineering Technical Service (ETS) to provide approval for new item/relation, when part not available in the IPC/CMM/SB etc.
• Involved with Internal Audit to assist in year-end and fiscal year audit checks to maintain ISO 9001 QMS rating for the Material Provisioning & Inventory Control department.
• Assisting sales teams to interpret and respond to RFPs & RFQs based on product specification and design of primarily, EOT, Goliath (Gantry) and Wall travelling jib cranes.
• Review purchase orders & assembly drawings and submit design proposals to seek client approval.
• Confirm crane, hoist, LT beam dimensions and issue appropriate fabrication drawings.
• Guiding the design team to prepare notch cutting, DSL bracket, transformer/control panel mounting, end stopper mounting drawings based on defined parameters.
• Liaison with production team to apply precision control during the entire fabrication stage to minimize scrap production.
• Validate load charts and coordinate the installation, commissioning, and load testing & certification of supplied crane assembly at site.
• Provisioning of site resources like laser meters, welding machines, power tools, abrasive tools, lifting tools, access arrangements and safety equipment with related protocols.
• Understanding of factory related scope of work & field related scope of work.
• Project budgeting and project monitoring; assist in identifying material and resource needs.
• Reporting and documentation of projects complying with ISO standards with strict emphasis on the ASME Code of Engineering Ethics.
