•Ensure the purchase prices are within the budget and meeting the savings target.
•Responsible for Budget Planning and generation of Purchase requisition and Purchase order.
•Forecasting the raw material requirement & determining whether the material need to be produced indigenously or bought.
•Managing stock control techniques to maintain the optimum level of stock so that there is neither shortage of any material nor excess inventory for which purpose determination of max & min limits of inventory & reordering level is followed.

•Clarify all the queries to supplier like technical/dimensional/special requirements/quality and arrange for inspections (TPI/ Client /company representative).
