Duties and Responsibilities:
1- Initiates the Development & Extensions of network studies
2- Estimates the system load forecasts for domestic load, and Carry out system forecasts
for Domestic Loads
3-Facilitates the gathering of system load information that is necessary for complex
analysis of electric delivery system circuits to identify system performance problems.
Conducts & performs the 33, 11, 0.4KV load flow studies, Fault level studies, using
latest available software like etap, PSS SINCAL, EDSA etc. Performing Short Circuit,
Protection Coordination, Arc Flash, Load Flow, Motor Starting, Power Factor, Stability
(Transient & Dynamic), Harmonic analysis and Filter Design and other related studies
4 - Perform preventive maintenance on electrical equipment; carries out emergency work;
restore power outrages; Cable Fault allocation/ Cabling and cable rack systems. Corrective
maintenance (on urgent basis). Engineering from substation to load, and excellent trouble-
shooting skills
5- preparation of technical studies network distribution 11KV, 400V and expectations by
population expansion
6-Preparation Planning of technical studies network distribution 33, 11KV, 400V and
expectations by population expansion
7-order and distribute tasks between staff department through reliance on the application
of general functional policy
8- control over the work through control and ensure that it is applied, usually controls by
controlling the results of the business, and then compared with the strategic plane in the
planning stage
9- Evaluating the success of the administration of staff to reach on base the result
1. Designed Solar PV system and calculated expected solar energy production.
2. Performed batteries sizing, load estimation, maximum demand forecasting, voltage drop
calculations, short-circuit calculations and cable studies using ecodial and ETAP.
3. Detailed system performance analysis performed using PV system.
4. Developed single-lines, array layouts, equipment specifications, cabling, conduit, and
panel schedules.
5. Developed BOQ, drawings, and specifications for solar construction projects.
6. Prepare BOQ for security upgrade according to DSS report.
7. Detailed designs and drawings, with complete BOQs and spcs for the following systems:
a. CCTV system
b. Access control system.
c. Firefighting detection and alarm system.
d. Safety and lifesaving system.
e. LED emergency lighting system.
f. Public address system.
g. Evacuation system.
h. UPS and Solar system.
i. Earthing system.
8. Supervision, testing, commissioning, and handover to the end user (UNOPS)
9. I was responsible on data acquisition; coordinate system & datum transformations
10. Created or acquired and managed all geographic data needed to design and operate
UNOPS's new projects including land boundary, roads, power lines, pipelines, healthcare
centers, municipal services locations, environmental and cultural data, and survey data.
1. Designed the exhibition and conference
2. Developed Conference requirement and exhibition, drawings, and specifications for
construction projects.
3. Detailed the exhibition and performance analysis performed using a questionnaire.
4. Developed single-lines, array layouts, equipment specifications, cabling, conduit, and
panel schedules.
5. Prepared professional reports, data analysis, and dashboards.
6. Supervise the work, test and commissioning and handover the project to minister of
electricity and power
